"I do, but rest seems good for now." When she ran her fingers along the spine she saw it written in elven. She liked reading, many night's she spent reading in darkness only able to see by wandlight, but her vocabulary of the ancient language was so limited she would struggle her way through a page. Reluctant to leave him so soon after he had helped her she went to the room and curled on the bed in what was her room.

Kioh watched he go, and then looked down at the pages of his book. But he couldn't focus. He was too happy that she would be going to the Sky-fire show with him in a few days, that she had finally chosen to stay away from Caspian, and that she would actually be living with him for a while. He knew that it didn't mean anything, but every little thing she did gave him hope. He sat there on the couch, smiling into he pages of his book until he fell into what for elves was considered sleep.

When she curled into a ball on the bed in one of the rooms she could not sleep. Her continously wandering mind distracted her and even when her eyes closed memoried played in her mind. Why couldn't she just be dead? But she couldn't die now, at least not by her own hand. she had promised Kioh she wouldn't even if she wanted too. There was no escape for her now. Caspian would never love her, never even take her in as a friend or even bother to acknoledge that he once loved her. It was he who gave her hope of love to beging with, a hope she never dreamed of before and now a hope she cannot bear to lose, and it is he who takes it away now. Why couldn't she just die?
