She forced herself to stand knowing the magic of wand-wielding would not sap her strength. She raided the wand above her, following the point as a red ball of flame burst from the tip and burst several hundred feet above them showering them with crimson sparks. With a laugh she continued. "Aguamenti!" She cried and water flowed from the wand's end until she bid it to stop. "Mobiliarbus!" She cried another spell and the great tree that she had just been laying beside lifted from the earth a few feet exposing the tangle of roots under it. Then without thinking she poined the wand to the boy beside him. "Accio Kioh!"

Kioh flew to her side, flying in the air. He laughed, and did a flip. "What is this magic?" he asked. "Put me down!" he groped for the soft, moss-covered ground that he had been resting on. "This is amazing." he said as his eyes shifted over to the floating tree. "But I really like the ground." Kioh liked flying, but he was exhausted. The gravity was making him even more tired.

"Sorry." The spell stopped when he was thrown into her arms and the both of them were knocked to the ground. It took her a moment to catch her breath after the impact, but she was alright. "I don't know what I was thinking. No one uses that spell on people. It's stupid that I even tried it. Sorry." Now she was embarrassed. Not to much but enough to keep her from meeting with his eyes again.

"It's alright." he said, finally drawing strength from a near by tree move. His foot was stuck in the roots, but when he stopped struggling, it let him go. Kioh looked down at her and smiled, but only for a moment. He staggered to his feet, and offered her a hand to help her up. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"I Think I'm fine now. The wand gives some strength, not much though. But I can walk. What about you? You did most of the work, not me. You should lay back down and rest. I'm sorry for waking you."

"I'm fine." he said, "I don't need any more rest." Kioh brushed some of the dirt off her shoulders. "How did you do that?" he asked. "That.... that flying thing. How did you pull me?"

"It's a summoning charm," She answered proudly, "One of the first my master taught me. It calls anything that I say after the actual spell to come to me, no matter how far away it is. But I never knew it could be used on humans. I always thought only the Imperius Curse could bend others against their will."

"I'm an elf." he reminded her. "But yeah, I guess it'd work on humans too, if it worked on me." Kioh looked at the little tree and bent down next to it, touching the leaves. "How did this tree create your wand?" he asked. He knew that he had sung the words, but he didn't understand just how it happened.

"The wand was forming as you sung it into existence. The heartstring came from within me though. My magic as a wand-wielder combined with the essence of life and the magic within it to create the rarest treasure in all Narnia. There are only two wands that can still be used. But they cannot be used by any other than their master. This wand is a part of me. The dragon heartstring symbolizes something about me, about who I am and what I'm meant to be, but I don't know what. The type of tree has the same purpose but again, I don't know what. But because part of my soul had to be used to create it it truly is like holding my heart. That's why it was such a terrible thing when Caspian broke it. That was partially why my emotions went insane with grief and I drove his sword through me." The moment the words escaped her she covered her mouth. She had not meant to say them, but they had reached him and the damage had been done.

Kioh reached for her and pulled her into a tight embrace, wrapping his arms around her and holding her closely. It was only instinct and the fact that he loved her. "Don't do that." he said. "Don't ever do that again." He didn't like it that she had felt that way, or went to that solution to end her pain. She shouldn't have had to be put through such pain, and Kioh suddenly wanted to hurt Caspian for what he had done to her. When the elf finally realized that he was hugging her, Common Sense told him that he was insane to do such a thing, and he let her go. "Sorry." he said. "I can't tell you what to do." the elf only said this because he knew that if she had ever done that to him, he would have tried to kill himself too. He remembered the rose petals. He couldn't be hypocritical towards her. But he never wanted her to end her life. It hurt him that she felt that way. "Please, don't ever take your life." Kioh pleaded, his voice almost a whisper. A tear ran down his face, then another. He couldn't bare to see her dead.

She let him hold her. There was no use in fighting him. "I know it was wrong, but it's over and past. I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking then. I let all my pain and sadness over losing him and my wand just break me. "

"I know how you feel." Kioh said sadly, sitting down a little ways away from her beside a tree and watching her in her happiness over her new wand. He smiled, though another sad tear ran down his face at the thought of her being dead. "But don't try it again. Please." he begged. Kioh looked away from her for a moment, trying to hide his tears from her, but found that it coudn't be done.

"I won't," she assured him. She felt the pain of losing a lover and if he truly did love her then it was wrong for her to condem him to the same pain. She let a smile cross her face as she looked to the remains of their tree and a bush beyond it. "Avis." and from her wand came a small flock of white doves that took refuge among the thorns of the rosebush.

"Good." he said, leaning back to watch her. Kioh smiled when he saw the doves appear. "That's truly amazing." he complimented. "How do you do that?" Kioh also wondered when he might train her in the ways of Elven magic. But for now, it seemed that she was enjoying herself with this foreign practice.

"I'm not sure how it works exactly. I just say the words my master taught me and it happens. I don't know what they mean, if they even have a meaning outside of Wand-wielding. I would let you try with one of the simplier spells, but my wand won't work with you. It was made from my energy and can only be used by my energy, even if it dosn't absorb the magic."
