"That's Joshua." she told her. "And he's been watching you all night long. I think he likes you. I can smell the emotion on him." Anna said. Then she looked at them, her eyes turning from the Nicole to the boy, and then back to Nicole. "He was watching you when you were human as well." said the griffin. "And he followed you when you left to come back."

"You mean he knows about my ability?" I asked looking at Anna worry in my eyes. I didn't want anyone to know it would just make my life more miserable. "Wait that means he also saw me with......Oh god." Nicole said hyperventilating. Nicole walked down a hallway as she transformed she ran down it. She couldn't take another guy. Nicole leaned against the wall sliding down her head inbetwwen her legs.

Josh noticed it when the two girls looked at him. He blushed and looked away. He couldn't let the one girl see him. Then when he looked back he saw her running down the hall. Josh instinctively stood up. Had it been him? He couldn't let anything happen because of him. He raced after the girl making sure no one was watching. He ran down the hall after her. That's when he saw her up against the wall back in her human form. Her dress sparkled and it made Josh smile. "Are you ok?" He asked in a calm but quiet voice. He leaned down hoping she would look at him. He wanted to help her so much. "I'm Joshua, though my friends call me Josh. It's nice to meet you. Though on a festive night like this everyone deserves to have company." He said offering his hand to her. He would help her up, but only if she wanted his help.

Devon looked on from the darkness only this time he didn't have his jacket that hid his face, He had on his so regular clothes on but he hid his daggers " who does this clown think he is" Devon began to walk up to them both only this time he didn't try to sneak up on them, but before he got to them he saw anna and walked up to her instead and stood next to her, "look you don't like me I know this, but trust me... this guy is bad news anna, he's not nice." Devon looked down on the floor wondering if she has even seen his face without his assassin mask on"

Nicole looked up to see the same kid Anna had mentioned. "Hi, I'm Nicole." she said wispering. He probably thought she was a freak, being able to transform the way she did. Though the way he talked to her he didn't seem at all like Devon or ...Andrew. She looked up at him, his eyes soft. Nicole smiled it was easy to do in his presence for some reason. And before she knew what she was doing she reached for his hand. "I would really enjoy your company." she said letting him pull her up. She smilled again, maybe this wouldn't be horrible after all.

Anna made three quick steps to go after her, but stopped. It would be better if she had some time to herself with Joshua. To her surprise, Devon was speaking to her. She looked down at him and sighed. "This is why I don't trust you, Devon." she said, nudging one of his hidden blades with her beak, but didn't take it from him. "I can smell the steel, and blood never truly washes away. And you reek of the scent." She told him. "Come and sit with me. I want to talk with you for a while." she said, her voice calm and anger-free for once. She made her way over to a table and pulled out a chair for him to sit in. It was about time that he and her had a civilized chat.

Joshua smiled when she did. He was really happy she was talking to him let alone smiling. Joshua gently pulled her up off of the ground. Joshua could tell he was blushing when she said she would enjoy his company. "T...thanks for you know not igrnoring me." He said. He had had some trouble with that in the past. Joshua sighed it was really nice being with her. She was beautiful, smart and she was kind. She deserved a lot better than Joshua but he hoped maybe he could at least be her friend.
