"Shape-shifting?!" Anna exclaimed excitedly. Cotnar was a shape-shifter, and he was Lamont's not-so-secret weapon. Cotnar was what kept them from winning many of the battles. If Nicole was a shape-shifter too, Narnia would be in a hell of a lot better position.

"Yeah, i told you i fought Contar remember." Nicole said a grin on her face. "But here is the bad news. Andrew is a shapeshifter as well. I can probably stand up to Contar but them both there is no way." Nicole said tensing up a bit.

"You don't have to do it alone." Anna reminded her comfortingly. "I can take Cotnar too. I helped to save Galen from him, and I'm sure that if I fought without the baby in my arms, I'd do even better." she told her. "And, if anything else, the Fire Spirit knows how to outsmart him."

"Fire spirit?" Nicole asked she knew about Galen but not him. "Who is that?" she asked this might make an interesting story. "I think i want to hear full details on this one."

"Yes. The Fire Spirit. Damian Tounguefire." Anna answered, and then went on to tell the story of how after she crashed through the window and was taken to the medical chambers, where she had earned those bandages that she had been wearing when she first met Nicole. Then Damian had rescued the babe, and Anna told Nicole of how he had outsmarted Cotnar, taking the forms of smoke and light and heat and fire, and the stunts that he had pulled trying to save the little Prince. Then she told of how the witch Lennia had found him on the roof, and healed the little boy from the snake-insides fluids that were lying on his skin.

"Wow" was all Nicole could say. Nicole knew she would get along quite well with this guy. Just by hearing his story. Nicole knew he had what it takes. "This guy sounds incredible. It would be cool to meet him, especially if he thought Lennia was good." Nicole said.

"He's nice." Anna told her, swooping low to the ground. The castle was nearing. But then she looked at Nicole and flew up again, catching her on her shoulders again. "If you want to keep those wings a secret, better not fly to close to the castle." she warned, and then descended again.

"Whoops." Nicole said as she returned to her Normal body. She enjoyed having them but not that much. She would ride Anna down to the ball. nicole looked at her dress it was shreaded. Repalna nicole muttered as the dress repaired itself.

Anna cantered through the hall and walked again when they entered the ball room, and then knelt so that Nicole could dismount. She nudged her with her beak in the direction that Caspian sat. "Go ask for your present." she said. The line of children had finally ceased to but a few.

Nicole was getting scared again as she entered the ball room with Anna. It was even worse when she pushed her. Nicole slowly walked up to Caspian though. She had promised she would and she would. "Seems like your having fun." she said to Caspian when she finally reached him.

Caspian chuckled his Father Christmas laugh when he saw her. "HO HO HO!" he grinned. She wasn't as little as the other kids, but she was still a kid none the less. She was old enough though that he probably shouldn't be trying to pick her up, so he left it up to her if she wanted to sit on his lap or not. "What do you want for Christmas, little girl?" he asked, reaching his arm into the sack of presents. "I'm sure I have something here for you. All you have to do is ask."

Nicole laughed a bit at his laugh. "Take it easy on me ok Anna made me do this." She said glancing at Anna. "I think for Christmas i would really like a locket. So i could put a picture of the people i care about in it."

Caspian chuckled. "That's just like Anna to do that." he said. The griffin was always trying to put a little fun in people's lives. Caspian reached into the bag and pulled out a pretty necklace. "Merry Christmas, Child." he said sweetly. He looked over to Anna for a second. "And you know what, tell her to come over here too. The kids will get a kick out of it."

Nicole loved the necklace as soon as he pulled it out. Nicole laughed with Caspian at thier little scheme. "My pleasure." Nicole said laughing. Nicole walked down the steps and over to Anna. "OH Anna." she said sing songy. "Cas.....I mean Father Christmas wants to see you." she said laughing.

"Me?" she inquired. "But I don't know what to ask for!" Anna chuckled, but went any way. She marched up to the false Father Christmas that was the King and sat on him, nearly squishing him beneath her weight. Some of the children laughed. Anna laughed, too.
