Anna danced over to her. "I'll teach you." she said. "Do what I do." and she began to sway with the music and bob her head. A basic. Then she spun around, her feet not truly moving, but rather sliding around in a circle. "You see?"

Nicole put her head down. This felt so stupid. She did what Anna told her but it didn't feel right. Nicole did the circle thing Anna was showing her alright. But she managed to trip twice. That wasn't the best thing Nicole had ever done before. "I guess." Nicole answered her hair covering her face.

Anna picked her up and set her on her feet. "It's alright." she told her. "Try again. Try dancing with the fauns." Anna brought her over to where the fauns were dancing around the fire. They formed a ring of dancers, and they seemed to be skipping or cantering. Anna joined them. This was easy enough. "Jump in!" she told Nicole.

Nicole backed up silently as Anna joined the fawns. "Nah, i don't think so." She said as she walked over to the food table. Nicole smiled a bit when she saw how big the shrimp were. No WONDER Anna had wanted some. Nicole laughed to herself as she sat down and WATCHED the others dancing.

Anna flew over to her and picked her up, placing her on her shoulders and joining the dance again. Then she laughed, "I don't think you have a choice." she said, determined to teach Nicole. She began dancing again.

"You are being so unfair today." Nicole said trying again. "You know this would probably help if i had a human teacher. Or i could always slip away and then come back." Nicole said she hoped Anna got the hint.

Nicole snickered of course she would come back. She knew she wouldn't make it a hundred miles without Anna finding her. Nicole sighed as she walked down the hallway. A snickering caught her attention. Nicole turned and saw Andrew. "OH, great what do you want?!" Nicole said croosing her arms.
"You are a really bad dancer." he said grinning. "You are exactly like mom." he said looking away.
"What do you care? You killed them remember?!" Nicole said an angry glare at him. Nicole knew he wouldn't fight her, he wasn't like that. "I repeat why are you here?" Nicole said again.
Andrew looked back pain in his eyes. "I came back, to teach you how to dance." he said comming over. Andrew slipped his hand around Nicole's waist and the other on one of her arms.
Nicole glanced at him wearily when he touched her. "Why? you have nothing to gain. And i know you won't break your word." Nicole said looking at him.
Andrew started spinning bringing Nicole with him. "It is all with the tune of the music." he said. As they moved around in a circle. He spun Nicole out and back in. "That's it you got it." he said as he brought her in. Andrew let go and backed away. "I wish we could do this like the old days but sadly we can't." Andrew said as he turned and left.
Nicole reached for him but he was already gone. "What had that been all about?" she thought to herself. Nicole turned around and headed back. Though she didn't forget to change. Nicole entered back into the ball room as a beautiful griffin. Nicole walked over to Anna a smile on her face.

Joshua had heard about the ball but hadn't known to come or not. He sighed as he entered the main room. His shirt was really tight. And he didn't really like the pants eighter. He missed his raged blue jeans and his jacket. He sighed he hoped he would at least meet someone here. That is when he saw a really pretty girl. She was beautiful, and her dress was gorgious. Josh slowly casually walked over to her when a griffin came over and took her to go dance. Joshua sighed things always worked out like that for him. He watched her though from a distance. She really was pretty, even though she wasn't a good dancer. Joshua could tell this from the way she moved her feet. Joshua followed the girl, when she went down the hallway. He really wanted to meet her. He hid often so she wouldn't know he was there. That's when he heard the other guy's voice. Joshua was about to intrude when the guy pulled away and rushed off. That's when he saw it, infront of his eyes the girl transformed. She was just like him. He smiled to himself, now he really wanted to meet her. He walked back out of the hallway sitting at a table watching the girl try to dance again.

Anna smiled back at her, nearly laughing. Nicole had the funniest smile on her face, and Anna couldn't quite read it. "What are you up to, Mischievous One?" she asked when the girl was finally within earshot. "You look as if you just got away with a prank." She looked up, noticing the boy for the tenth time that night. Anna would be sure to introduce them after the dance. This boy seemed kinder than Devon. Anna had only heard good things about him. Maybe he could replace Devon in Nicole's heart. It was worth a shot, anyway. Anna knew that the girl would be much safer with this boy than with the assassin.

Nicole smiled an even bigger smile. "Oh nothing to dangerous." she said. It was funny, back there Andrew was just like the brother she used to have. She remembered he would always make fun of her because she couldn't dance like him. Nicole sighed those were the days. "How about we try that dancing again." she said. "It might be a little easier this time. Now that i got a little help. "she thought.

Anna laughed. "You remind me of..." Anna stopped in her sentence and shook her head. it wasn't important. "Come on." she said. "I'll teach you." and she began to do the basics again to show her, shuffling around in a circle and stomping this way and that. It really was easy.

Nicole had no trouble following Anna's moves. It was a lot easier now that Andrew had shown her the complicated stuff. Nicole giggled it was sort of fun. If you knew what you were doing of course. Nicole laughed she was getting ahead of herself. she would of done the new moves she was taught but those were for a human. A human.........with a dance parner.

Nicole smiled a playful smile. "Oh nothing much, just the normal when is this good time gonna get screwed up. Stuff like that. I am a danger magnet." Nicole said laughing. As she danced, it was a lot easier. She was starting to even enjoy dancing. That's when she noticeda boy looking at her with strange eyes. Those of curiousity and maybe a little bit of suprise. "Who is that?" Nicole asked Anna. She didn't know how the boy was but she wanted to know why he was staring at her.
