Ok Nicole coudn't take it, she fell out of her chair laughing so hard. "I wish i could have seen that." Nicole could barely speak the words. Nicole stopped, "Wait maybe she could and even Anna would."Nicole smiled to herself as she gave a mschievious look to Anna. "I bet i could find your memory of that day and we could relive it."Nicole said the grin still on her face.

Anna choked on the tea she was drinking. "Really?" she asked. She wanted to accept the offer right away, but something still gnawed at her. Something that told her it might be too much for Anna to handle. And yet... "What the Hell, let's do it." she grinned.

Nicole was cautious at first. "This is a little different Anna. I'll have to use all my concentration on the one memory. and i'll have to touch you to hold it. Is that ok? It doesn't hurt at all though and it should be really fun."Nicole was smirking now this would be the first time in 10 years that she had done this. No one would let her touch them other than her family. Nicole shrugged to herself "Oh well they were missing out."she thought to herself smirking again.

"Yeah, that's fine." Anna agreed. Butterflies returned to her stomach that she hadn't felt since she was a child in anticipation to see her mother again. It had been a long time. Too long, since she had seen her.

Nicole nodded and walked over to Anna. Nicole placed one hand on Anna's forehead. "now one more thing Anna this will take all my concentration and i will be completely defenseless. Could you watch my back?" Nicole asked as she readied herself for the spell. "Sorry stupid question. Alright lets do it." Nicole said as her has glowed with a blue energy around it. "Onectra fenecio tysada yotran wen."Nicole was surrounded by Anna's memories all she had to do was find the right one. "Great this is going to be like finding a needle in a hay stack"Nicole thought. But then she saw it, she couldn't be mestaking that was definitally Anna but who was it in the tree? Wait that wasn't Anna at all it was her mother, and Anna was the one in the tree. Anna had been right she had been small.
(that's all i can do you have to supply the memory)

(okie dokie)
Anna watched the memory with interest. The image of her mother struck her hard in the heart, but she let it go for now. She wanted to savor ever moment that she relived the experience that she had had all those years ago. Her mother looked so different than what she remembered. Healthy and strong and brave, so quick to find her runaway daughter with her head stuck in the trees, and yet so reluctant to pull her free until after she had given the lecture. A sad smile crept onto Anna's face as the words began, and the little child version of her hung its head in defeat, forced to listen to yet another telling-off.
Things like, "You know better than this." and "You had me worried ill." continually popped up, along side the "I love you more than all the world, how could you do this?" and the "You're in big trouble when you get home, young lady."
Anna chuckled softly. She remembered that. But the little her wouldn't even dare to look up, and only mumbled "I know, Mum." about fifty times before she was freed from the grasp of the trees. She was only about the size of a two month old lion cub, and yet she was already five years old at this point. Anna missed being that small, but she wouldn't trade in her powerful muscles and wings for anything. Especially her skill now with her power.
She watched as the smaller her hugged her mother, and Anna winced. It hurt her that she could no longer hug her mother. She flew forward, trying to embrace her mother and the younger her, but her wings passed straight through them. They really were just a memory. She looked on as the child rode on her mother's shoulders, all the way back to their home. She watched her mother tuck her into bed and sing to her, while preening her daughter's feathers until she fell asleep.
Anna pulled from the memory with Nicole, and they were back in Anna's home. A single tear ran down the griffin's cheek, landing on the floor. Bur she turned her head away from Nicole. It wasn't proper to cry in front of children. Thank you, Child. she thought to her, unwilling to hear her own voice cracking with sadness. I had forgotten what my mother truly looked like, and her voice. I had forgotten what it was like to hear her sing. Thank you for giving that back to me.

Nicole could feel everything Anna was feeling during the memory. She wanted to cry with joy and sadness at the same time. When they returned to the real world Nicole sat on the floor hiding her face for she too was crying. "You know Anna, you don't have to act like an adult all the time, i tried and it's not very good for the health you know. You taught me that its ok to let other people know how your feeling." Nicole said looking up so Anna could see the tears running down Nicole's face as well.

Anna looked up at Nicole, showing her tears as well. The girl was right. She spread her wings over Nicole, pulling her into a hug. "Why are you crying?" she asked, resting her head on the human's shoulder. Anna felt little again, like the child that she had just seen moments ago. "I did not mean to make you cry."

Nicole laughed when Anna said that she didn't mean to make her cry. "Anna whenever I use that spell i become connected with whoever i use it on. Everything you felt in that memory i did too. I was apart of you, I wanted to hug your mother too, I felt everything. That spell was originally used to retrace old thoughts that would be important. I found a better use of it, i use it to become closer to someone i hold dear. It helped me understand who you really are Anna."

Anna nodded, letting Nicole go and wiping her face on her wing, before eating a cookie off the plate. She always ate when she was sad. It made her feel a little better. "Thank you, Child." she said again. It meant a lot to her that she was able to see and hear her mother again.

Nicole was happy she even grabbed a cookie. "Any time, though i don't think i'll ever forget the look on your mothers face when she first saw you stuck. It was the most hilarious thing i have ever seen." Nicole said as she started to laugh.

Anna managed a smile. "I did look kind of silly, I'm sure Mum thought so too." she laughed with her. "It was a fun day, that day, reguardless all the trouble of it."

Nicole smiled "I'm glad you got to see your mother again." Nicole was very happy that Anna got to see her mom. The truth of the fact though was that ever since what hapened with Andrew, Nicole couldn't remember past at all past the one day were Andrew killed them.

Anna nodded, then deciding to get the subject away from her mother. "Got something on your mind, Little One?" she asked, drinking from her mug of tea.

"No not really, though now i know what you ment by you being small once." Nicole said as a smile spread across her lips. "So what do you want to do now? I think it was totaly unfair of Andrew to come and spoil the ball for us." Nicole said as her eyes widened as she gave a look at Anna. "And don't you DARE say we should go back so i can ask for something for Christmas."
