"You're welcome." said Damian, smiling. "I'm glad you liked my crazy family." he teased. "I'll bring you back in a few weeks so you can get your puppy." Damian promised.

'I would like that" Len said, "And your family isn't crazy"

He laughed. "You've only met them once." he said. "Believe me, they're crazy." Damian got up and offered her a hand.

Len smiled and took his hand, she blushed slightly but that color soon dissipated from her cheeks. She smoothed out her dress and looked at Damian. "So what now?" She asked.

"I don't know." he said. "I could show you a tour of our little 'city', seeing as Momma and Papa are probably looking at those photos. It really is beautiful at night, with the lanterns and horses and all. Or we can visit Hunter and Sparky and the puppies again. Or whatever you want to do. You're the guest, and it doesn't matter to me." Damian shrugged. He looked down at her hand, and realized that it was still bandaged merely by his belt. "But come sit in the kitchen first." he said. "I'll get you a proper bandage for your cut." and with that he lead her back to the kitchen and began to search through the cupboards until he found a small jar of medicine and a roll of bandage.

Len followed him and let Damian bandage her hand. She smiled. "Thanks" She said. Len thought for a moment. "I think a walk would be good" She said wanting to see more of the city.

Damain smiled. "You're welcome." he said, and stood again and held the door for her. "You'll love the village." he began to talk to her about it already. "There's a lantern at every doorway, and horses prance through the streets with riders on their backs. And people walk through the streets, and it's cool. You'll love it." he said excitedly. He loved his home.

Len smiled. "I can't wait" She said as she walked out the door. "You want to led the way?"

"Sure." he said, stepping out of his parents' house and closing the door behind him gently. He lead Len out to the far sidewalk after a few horses had passed. The two of them walked by a few of the houses before they got into the active part of town. Here, people walked the streets freely or their horses, and some of the teenagers were still racing each other. Damian looked up at the tallest, grandest of buildings in the area. "This is the town church." he told her. "My people worship Aslan here."

Len was amazed at how beautiful the city was. The sheer size of the church was amazing. "Can we go in?" She asked wanting to see what it looked like on the inside.

"If you like, absolutely." said the Fire Spirit, walking up the steps and holding the door for her again. He hadn't been in here in a long time. Not since he joined the Narnians.

Len followed anxiously as they walked through the large doors. She'd never been in a church before.

There were large aisles of wooden benches to seat the Fire Spirits. They were beautifully carved, the face of Aslan staring out with warm eyes from each of them. Tapestries hung from the walls, each displaying a scene from one of Aslan's great triumphs. The death of the White Witch, the war to free Narnia from its century-long winter, and the battle to free Narnia once again from Telmar all hung there, with many other things in between. Statues of the Great Lion stood bold and proud, their heads raised high, but humble. An alter stood at the center of the front of the room for a man to preach from. Damian touched the face of one of the statues. He himself had never seen the Greatest of Kings, and wondered if this was what he truly looked like. No, he thought. Aslan couldn't be described in a mere artist's carving. But it must have been at least some idea of what his appearance might be. "What do you think?" he asked Lennia. "Do you like the church?"

Len looked around amazed at how it looked. "Yes I love it. I've never seen such grand representations of Alsan in one are" She said looking around. "Where to next?" She asked.

Damian lead her out of the church. "The bakery." he answered, walking down the steps. But she probably didn't have to follow him. Delicious scents of cookies and cakes and sugary sweets filled the air when they got close, along with bread, pies, and other things. Fire Spirits took pride in their cooking. Especially when it came to desert.
