Sam smiled happily and went back to his work, using both tools and his hands to mold designs into the weapon. Damian waved a goodbye to him. "Do you want to go back to the castle now, or see more of the town?" Damian asked Len. Either was fine with him, but they both had to get back soon. They both had work to do the next day, or at least he did.

Len looked around before she spoke. "We should head back to the palace" She said. Len really didn't want to go but they needed to get back soon.

"Okay." he agreed, and began to lead her back through the town, past the bakery and the shops and the church and all of the people. He kept a careful eye out for the other man that they had seen earlier, but he was no where to be found. "What do you think of this place?" he asked her, trying to start a conversation again.

Len smiled. "I love it here" She said with enthusiasm. It wasn't a lie she really enjoyed her stay. She would love to come back soon.

Damian set his hand above the cauldron, and let two drops of flame fall from his fingers. The iron gateway opened, and he stepped through. The pool of fire lay just beyond it. He looked back once more at his homeland, before extending his hand out to Lennia. "Ready?"

He took her hand and jumped into the pool, changing the both of them into fire. He snaked his way through the flames, enjoying his favorite form. Then they changed into heat as they traveled through the boiling water.
