Caspian nodded, and began to walk back towards the castle. There were a thousand things that needed to be prepared. The food, the decorating, the cake of course, invitations, the list was endless. But it was worth it to him if it brought her happiness. Caspian looked down at her slyly, then spun her around in a circle, laughing. "We're going to be married!" he exclaimed joyfully, still not able to believe his luck.

Susan laughed as he did. They were within view of the castle and some of the servants and workers outside of the stronghold could see them. most of them just watched and smiled at their leaders, others just acknowledged them with a nod and continued with their duties. When he stopped spinnig her she put her hand on the back of his neck and kissed him. "We are," She said softly and sweetly, "and when it's over I will be no ones woman but yours, just as you will be no one's man but mine. Nothing will seperate us again. not fear, not our fathers, not Lamont, not Aslan."

"Aslan is the one who brought us together." Caspian said, inclining his head to kiss her as she touched his neck. Warmth swallowed his entire body when her fingers touched his skin. One of the smiling servants opened the door to let them in. Caspian thanked him and walked up the steps to his room. He set Susan down on one of the chairs and then he went to his desk and pulled out a piece of parchement, ready to make a list. Caspian dabbed his quill in the inkwell and held it over the paper.

Caspian paused, trying to think. "What else do we need?" he asked her, handing Susan his quick list that he had made.

"It depends," She told him, "The Narnian weddings are not done by priests. They can only be made official by the gift of Aslan, which Peter has. and there really is no need for invitations if it's going to be today. It would just cause a loss of paper. We could just tell who we wanted to come and the trees would spread the news. I'm sure by now they've already begun to tell people. As far as the other things like decorations and things, I don't ask for much. As long as its done I can be happy. But you have to chose your own best man. We could have it where Aslan sent us back to England last time, beneith the two trees." She thought it would be perfect. The two great trunks, each being one of them, comming together above their heads becomming one. All of Narnia could assemble there, just as they had when she left the last time, only this would be a happy moment.

"Okay." Caspian said, and then changed his list.

Caspian handed the paper to her along with the quill. "What about the bridesmaids?" he asked, meaning for her to write their names down so that the dresses could be made for them. Caspian began to think about who he would chose for Best Man. It couldn't be Peter, because he would be the one reciting the vows for he and Susan to say 'I do'. He thought and thought hard. Caspian didn't really have a lot of people to choose from.

Susan tried to think hard. She didn't have too many frineds outside of family in this era. Before she had to depend on the Bevers with her life if she was ever going to find Aslan, much less be able to help them. She had Trumpkin and Trufflehunter and Reepicheep's help, but none of them could serve as a bridesmaid. The closest she could come was a white centaur who had gone missing not to long ago. The day of your wedding and no one can share it with you she shook the voice away. "Maybe it could just be with family." She sugested, "something small with only family and closest friends. Our fathers and my siblings and the Narnians who helped us before like Trumpkin and Trufflehunter. It would make things much eaiser being at such short notice being that most of them are already here."

"That would be nice." Caspian said, calming down a bit. Just family and friends sounded good to him. The man took in a deep breath and let it out, letting some of the stress leave him. He smiled at her, imagining their wedding. He could picture her standing beside him in her wedding dress, and the words that they would say like magic, to be with each other always. 'I do'. Caspian adjusted the list again.

That list would do. He set it on his desk and sighed, thinking of what to do first. "You should be fitted for a dress, or you could wear my mother's if you like." he said to her. "I'll take care of everything else." Caspian smiled. This was their wedding day, and everything was going well.

Susan considered the thought. Always she had assumed that her wedding would be done in her mother's dress. She never knew Caspian's mother, only knew he liked her. It would make things much eaiser if she already had a dress that fit and was already set up for her instead of the hastle of having to create one herself. They did not have long to prepare. "You shouldn't have to do everything alone." She told him putting thoughts aside. "I am here for a reason and you can't do it all by yourself."

Caspian smiled and kissed her. "Alright." he said. He just didn't want her to have the burden of worrying about things. He didn't mean to make her feel disincluded. "What do you want to take care of?" Caspian inquired. He sat down on the bed so they could discuss the wedding plans, leaning forward elbows on his knees to listen to what she had to say.

Susan looked over his list not actualy wanting to have to worry about preparations. She wanted the wedding done as quickly as possible. She had heard countless times about how people spent the day of their wedding wanting everything to be perfect. She didn't want to worry and the more that was added to the list would adda to her nervousness. Decorations were not needed, the beauty of nature in the blace between the now-closed gate to england would be well enough. She didn't see too much of a reason to eat afterward, she wouldn't be focused on anything but Caspian. If the people decided to bring food for themselves afterward then so be it. She wasn't sure how nesserary music was, but she didn't think it would matter too much if it was left out. It would make another free space in her mind. She had always assumed the cake, of all things, was essential. Otherwise it wouldn't be in every wedding for centuries and thousands of years to come. But she didn't see why it had to be big. Maybe a small one, no bigger than maybe a pizza, if they even knew what a pizza was in Narnia. Caspian had his own worries of his clothes and hair and who he was to bring. She had the same with maybe a bit more stress on the guests. "Everything's practicly done." She told him. But then she saw him since the first time since she stood. She smiled and threw herself at him letting fall backwards. She knew she would have so much trouble waiting until after the cerimony.

Caspian fell over and laughed. He kissed her lips and hugged her. "What are you doing?" he chuckled. "If you wanted to sit next to me, you could have just done so." he teased her and tickled her neck, hoping that she would laugh. Caspian sat up again and laughed at her. "Silly Susan." he teased her playfully. Caspian hoped that she knew that he didn't really think she was silly. But he did have fun teasing her.

She only laughed at the sound of his laughter. It was normal for her by now. His sadness brought sadness, and his joy brought joy. She felt as though she was a child again, carefree and lost in a world of bliss. Where the world was a game and anything complex enough to hurt her was too complex for her to understand. When he touched her neck she made a sound like a cross between screaming and laughing. "Stop it!" She laughed rolling far enough that she fell off the bed.

Caspian couldn't help but laugh. He knew it was the wrong thing to do, to laugh before you knew someone was alright. But he just couldn't help it. When he tried to contain it his face grew red. "Are you alright?" he chuckled, helping her up. He held a pillow behind his back. If she was alright, Caspian would attack her with it and start a pillow fight.

Susan sat still for a moment with her arms wrapped around her child and her eyes closed. When she felt it move again she nodded and stood going to lie on the bed. She had always believed Caspian's bed was more comfortable than her own, even if there was hardly any diffrence between the two. Again her eyes closed. "What will we call it?" She asked as the thought sprang to her mind without reason.

Caspian had his pillow in his hands and was just about to whack her with it, when she asked him a question. He set the pillow on the bed. "The baby? I don't know. What do you think would be a good name for him or her?" Caspian asked. He moved the pillow under her head and lay down next to her. They were wasting time for planning, but Caspian didn't care. If it was just a simple wedding, then they didn't really need hours and hours to worry over it. He stared curiosly at her belly, wondering about the child inside. What would it look like? Would it be a boy or a girl? Would it love him?
