Lyric winced when he licked her cheek, moving closer to Peter. "Now that your lover has brought you to us, you will die." said Contar, and Lyric's anger flared again. She was having enough of this guy. He was seeming less and less scary and more and more an annoance. Her fists clenched, as did her jaw, but she said nothing, gently gripping his arm as she glared at the creature.

"strong words from you," Lamont stepped foward from behind his master. "To tell others not to touch her when you have tried to hurt her yourself."
(OOC: You called, I came I just can't think of very much right now)

Peter wrapped his arm around her waist as Lamont stepped forward. It took all of his self control not to jump at him and strangle him. "You're the one that did it!" the king snarled, trembling with rage. His grip tightened on Lyric and he losened it, not wanting to hurt her again. He was beyond angry.

"Is he truly," Aslan said. "What coward of a man, or king for that matter, would blame his actions on that of a child. Surly I thought you to be wiser then such childish games, Peter. You were a good boy before but for now you can settle with betrayal, hatered, anger, dealing with traitors, and endless fighting that will end nowhere." Aslan stopped for a second to look towards Lamont before back to Peter.

Her eyes narrowed when Lamont stepped out. She really didn't like him, now. It was him who had been hurting and doing whatever that was amking Peter act different. She nearly hated him for it, and would if she wasn't so kindhearted. She placed a hand on Peters shoulder, just to tell him she was there, and for comfort. He didn't look too happy, either.

"You don't know me, Aslan," Peter snapped. His temper was about to explode. He had a steady look on his face all of a sudden. "My life..in exchanged for Lucy coming home," he told him, looking at the creature with a calm gaze. Of course he wasn't going to die. He would simply fake death in the hopes they didn't know," his eyes snapped to Lamont and he took a step forward, holding Rhidon. "And that you would never harm Caspian or Susan ever again,"

"My life..in exchanged for Lucy" He says. Aslan would not be fooled easily by simple words. But his offer was one he could find useful. He unsheathed his claws for only a moment and shook his head letting his golden mane shimmer in the torchlight.
"The fates of Susan and Caspian are not within my grasp. Susan disobeyed my words, just as you have, and thus I am of no help to them. the Queen herself has a purpose planned for her, should she chose to accept her fate.
"As for young Lucy, there is no need for your traitorous life to be sacrificed to find a child that is in no true danger. Lyric and Lamont could have told you that the young Queen had been kept here, in this very room, on that very table. She was safe, cared for, and well. But then she betrays us as well and the Queen has been relocated.
"But you can still join Lamont and I, confess your crime for disobeying me by returning to Narnia when you knew you were not to come, and I may allow you to be reunited with your sister."
He lowered his haunches and curled his tail around his paws. His gaze shifted from Peter, where he forced it to be the normal calm the boy knew it to be, and then to Lyric where he held back his growling.
"But you, Lyrica Moonspirit, have been given the chance to stay with us. You have turned against us, telling him all that we have done. I know, as I have suspected, that you cannot be trusted. Lamont will deal with you, just as he will deal with Susan."

Peter frowned as he considered Aslan's offer. It was very tempting. He looked to Lamont and Lyric, then to Aslan. He was tempting to join, but of course he would back out as soon as he was reunited with Lucy. "Lets just say I accept your offer," the king said steadily. "How do I know that Lucy's safe and that you won't go back on your word?" he waited for his response as he looked at Lamont and Lyric. She knew where Lucy was..."Why didn't you tell me where she was before?" he murmured to Lyric while keeping an eye on Lamont and Aslan.

She bowed then shook her head, unable to answer. Needless to say, she was mortified. This was all turning out very, very wrong, though she should have expected it. She looked to "Aslan" eyes narrowing, and said nothing. Fake.... she thought, anger blazing within.

Lamont looked over Lyric as Aslan spoke of her. She was beautiful, as was Susan, and both were surprisingly strong for girls. Aslan promised Susan to him long ago, and now to know that Lyric would also be his was both an honar, and a nightmare. If what he had heard was right, one girl was more than enough trouble. He stepped foward proudly and spoke.
"She said nothing before because she knows where she belongs," He said, "She is our people, not yours. her little confession dose not mean she sides with you."

"I suppose you do have no way to trust me is there," The lion sighed with pure annoyance. For beings so weak how could they be so stubborn. Their chances of keeping their pathetic lives were better if they were to simply stop fighting. There would be much less bloodshed that way and in the end he would still be victorious. "You could simply trust in the great Aslan with the same faith you gave him so long ago. But if you truly need a sign I shall fetch one." The lion turned and left the cavern leaving Lamont alone. He was not afraid for the boy; the knowledge of an experienced swordsman that he 'bowrowed' from Caspian in the forest through his rage would be enough to keep him safe enough. he would keep the two of them in the room of the stone table untill he returned - no mater how long it took.

Peter's eyes narrowed as Lamont spoke. He wrapped a protective arm around her waist and pulled her closer. "She sides with me," he growled. "If you ever touch her you won't have long to live, I can promise that," he growled with anger. "And while we're talking, get the dark magic out of me. I know its your doing Lamont. Twice you made me hurt Lyric....if Caspian hadn't woken me I might have killed him. Now get it out of me," he said roughly. He was seriously considering joining Lamont. Or maybe that was his voice in his mind again. He glared as Aslan left.

Lyric felt a strong urge to hug him, but knew it wasn't the time and place. She watched 'Aslan' go, then looked up at Peter with a weak, but confidant smile when he said she sided with him. He was right. She'd never side with anyone as wicked as Lamont. She felt bad when he'd spoken about how he'd hurt her. It wasn't his fault... anger boiled hotter in the pit of her stomach as she thought about what Lamont was doing to him. Her eyes averted to the lion as he went. His words hadn't seemed right... and what was he planning?

The great lion returned not much later then he had left, but this time he was not alone. He had carried with him the sign that the boy could trust him on his back and now it walked beside him as he entered the dimly lit cavern. As the two of them came into the light the sign left his side, racing to embrace Peter, but he snarled and she returned to him.
"Are you pleased?" He said, "here is your sister. She is just as well as you left her when Lamont took her. Now that you see that she is safe I can ask you again: will you join me, or will you turn against me?"

Peter's eyes widen as Aslan came back with Lucy. "Lu!" he yelled. He wanted so much to hug her, but thought the better of it. He hesitated, looking from him to Lucy, then back again. He was trapped and he had a feeling the lion knew he would be. Susan and the others would kill me, he thought. "You've convinced me," he said quietly. "J-just give me back my sister...and I'll join.." he hated himself. He looked at Lucy. I'm sorry Lu, he tried to tell her with a look. He thought he could get away with it. He closed his eyes.
