Because you are in need of it. Your entire country is in need of it, and you deserve it most right now. Aslan said wisely. And I did not give it to you alone. Caspian did it. Do you know what it is? He asked again, giving her another chance to guess.

Cotnar roared, still letting anger cource through his paws. The neck of his dragon tail twitched as he ran, blood rushing to its head as it threatened to breath fire. With a bound that covered leauges with his gift of travel he landed atop a snow covered peak where legions of hundreds of diffrent demons stayed waiting for him. He let loose a roar and they looked to him ready to serve their master. The chimera smiled knowing they had more than numbers to fight with. Caspian's arm stood no chance against him. A new age of war had come.

Susan shook her head when he asked her again. She hated that he had said his name. Instantly her arm that did not hold Galen wrapped around her stomach. he had just gotten big enough to feel, now he would never know the touch or voice of his father. He would never have the name Caspian chose for him. What had Caspian done without her knowing?"

Lamont knelt and touched the palm of his hand to the ground and let the unburning fire coat him and carry him through the earth and to where Susan was supposed to be hidden. He wanted to see her terrified face when he came from nowhere again and did as he pleased. It was beyond likely that if they met Caspian's son she carried would be no more.

A deep magic. Aslan repeated. As ancient as I. When it was certain that she wasn't going to guess, he decided to tell her. Love, Susan. Love. Your husband died to save you and the family that you have and will have together. With his death, he and I bestowed the power of Love upon you. And in a month's time, he will return to your side. Together, so long as you keep your trust in me, you will save Narnia. Aslan said wisely. It is a magic that the demons can never hope of achieving. A magic that you must use with care, Dear One. He looked over his shoulder and kissed her belly. And don't worry. Caspian will be back in time for his son to learn of him.
Aslan shook his mane as he watched Lamont from within his mind, as he watched all people. He would be finding the decoys soon. Unflawed, perfect decoys of human flesh. No one would know the difference. Not Lamont, Cotnar, or Tash himself. Susan and the decoy were exactly the same. Down to the very freckles.

He was the first to reach her. Before the demons, before Cotnar he was there. She was there holding the child, his child, in his arms. He wanted to pounce at that moment on her, but held himself back and sheathed his sword smiling. "Gentle Susan," He said calmly, "I am sure you know by now that your precious husband Caspian is dead."

He roared again, the snow coated peaks becoming fire before as the leader extended the gift over them all. Within moments they were with Lamont watching the queen as she watched them with eyes filled with terror. He would have her die if not for Lamont. He'll still kill her anyway in the end, more pain to Aslan. But for now he waited for her to speak.

Susan looked back at the boy when he came. Aslan's words seemed so obvious, like she should have been able to guess it before. Love, like fear, drives all things The voice in her head said this, but she said it as well knowing it's truth. Caspian's love for her led him to death in an attempt to protect her, Aslan's love for all things let him help when the white witch was in power. Even for the worse love still is present, her brother's love for sweets leading him to betray them just as Peter's love for Syria did the same. All loved, all but the demons who were incapeable. But no, she didn't believe that either. CAspian's mother was demon and she loved his father and her half-breed son, even if in the end she did leave the both of them. Demons could love, they simply chose not to. Even the monster of a boy who gave her the child she held tightly in her arms could love, she was sure of it. It was no special power granted to the narnians and no one else. But he had killed his mother, the action of a blood-thirsty and heartless demon, in an attempt to claim the throne that he knew was not rightfully his, yet he spoke of it as though it was. She looked to Galen, into the little eyes that looked so much like his father's, eyes that had scared her before and had seen in nightmares. Then looked back at the boy, so greatly changed by time. "Aslan," She said knowing her choice may be the greatest of mistakes she had ever made, "take Galen, keep him safe, and let them see me."

Oh? And why have you chosen that? he asked, waiting for an explanation. He wanted to make sure she had thought everything through. He looked at the situation, wondering how she had come across that solution. Of course he knew, but it was good to wonder. And a father is more than a sire of a child. he said to her as she looked at her son. Lamont is not that child's father. Aslan told her gently. But, speaking of your enemy, it seems he's found our decoy.
(ooc: Susu, you want to play the decoy? Who better to play the decoy than the real Suzie.)

The false Susan stood, fear in her eyes as she saw him come. Could she run, not fast enough likely, but to stay was to lose Galen or caspian's son. She couldn't have them suffer, no matter the price she was forced to pay. Any sacrifice may have been the price she needed to pay to save them. Caspian had done the same . She didn't know what to say to him, didn't think she could do anything more than be afraid. But if she remembered right, he would have pleasure in that anyway.
"I think I understand something," the true Susan told the great lion putting her son at his paws. With her arms free they folded over her smaller child having no choice but to believe that if something went wrong by this almost suisidal idea then Aslan would interviene. He did earlier, why not now, "Something I either didn't notice or didn't want to notice before. If I'm right it makes everything that he's done make since to me. I have to be sure. And, if I'm right, he won't hurt me."

He smiled as he saw her, afraid as she was, and took a step closer. She didn't cry as he thought she would, he had just told her he had slain her one and only. Why hadn't she reacted? It didn't matter, she had already known he was going to die by his hand long before he had run off to england to train. The both of them had been terrified by his strength and cunning since their first battle in the forest when Lucy was still alive and in his grasp. he moved on from death to new life, the only thing she could possibly care for more. "His being dead means you need a husband. You wouldn't want little Galen to not have a father would you. After all, he is my son anyway, so it only makes it right that I father him. It would be like before, when the both of us were together with no Caspian to bother us. Don't you remember gentle Susan?"

Cotnar stopped and looked back at the demon army that followed. They wouldn't strike unless they were told to. He just watched though knowing the lion was here, somewhere, hiding like a coward and protecting the children that were not his. but he would show his face soon and when that moment came, he flexed his claws at the thought of it, he would enjoy it fully.

"I remember," The false Susan stepped back as he came closer. She couldn't let him get to her. Her gaze shifted to where she could see Aslan standing. Even if she was a decoy she was still made in every likeness of Susan, her thoughts fears emotions, all were as real as they were her own. She was practicly another person alltogether. The only difference was that her life didn't mater to the lion and because of that she was allowed to be afraid, more so than the actual Susan. "I remember," She said her voice nothing more than a whisper.

(remember Aslan and real Su can't be seen yet)
What is it that you understand? he asked her, carrying Galen in one paw as they walked, carrying Susan still upon his back with the other three. What is it that you've noticed that makes you believe he won't hurt you? Aslan wasn't doubtful of her, and neither was his voice. He just wanted to hear her say her entire plan. Often in reciting, you caught your flaws. If you didn't, the other would. He just wanted to make sure she knew what she was doing.

She didn't think she'd be telling him before she actualy went out and did it. She was afraid that if she stood around and talked about it to long she would get scared and back out. But she couldn't get Aslan to make her visible unless she told him. It was a simple concept, something anyone who didn't know about all the heartless things he had done would be able to see. but because she had seen all he had done they hadn't noticed it. "I think that he loves me."
((OOC: I know that but since real su can see him so can fake su))
