Aslan listened, closing his eyes as he strolled. You have a nice voice. he complimented. The baby seemed more relaxed now, even if still whimpering, his eyes red and cheeks wet with tears. He nuzzled his head into his mother's belly, resting his face on the bump that was his little brother.

no I don't She thought not bothering to say it out loud. It only made Galen sleep because he was used to her voice. Her musical talent started and ended in the flute and she wasn't all that good at that. Lucy was the singer, even when they were kings and queens before she was the singer. Princes and birds came from all over Narnia to hear her voice. Birds fled hers. Caspian only said she could sing to make her feel better, but she wasn't stupid. She knew. But at least he was asleep. She wanted to sleep too, but was afraid to. When at last she laid down and the world went dark would she still hear the terrible scream that marked Caspian's death? She didn't want to. She'd stay awake until the end of time if it meant that she wouldn't ever have to hear that sound again.

Do you think that I would lie to you, Susan? Aslan questioned. You do have a nice voice, and that's the truth, Dear One. he said, always aware of went on within her mind. Why do you fear things when upon my shoulders? Sleep, Gentle Queen. Rest your little head upon my mane, and I will fill you with sweet dreams. Aslan promised. He turned his head over his shoulder and licked her fingers. You are not alone when you are with me. You are never alone, even when I am not at your side. I am always with you, Dear One. Do not worry. He gave her a warm smile and turned his face forward again.

Cotnar growled as he caught sight of the imitation Susan. He could smell the scent of the foul lion Aslan and knew somehow that he had interviened. Behind him the armies came. Hundreds of thousands of beasts of thousands of species roaring, howling, bearing their teeth, all ready for battle. They had been prepared for war against the castle, fighting not only Susan, but her brothers and the armies assembled in the castle and around it. But for now this would have to do. And once they were done here and once the child of both demon and holy blood was in their grasp once more they would go back to the castle anyway and destroy it.

He pulled her closer, yet again, as he heard the sounds of the army come. He saw her eyes flick towards them in fear knowing her fate now. He felt himself wanting only more as she began to tremble under his grip. But then she hardened. "Fine," She said, "Kill me. Send me to where Caspian is. You'll be doing me a favor." And he laughed. "Silly girl, only the purest can go to paradice and with all the naughty things you've done you'll spend your eternity with my master."

Susan nodded knowing she was tired, but the position was uncomfortable to straddle the great lion and lean forward onto his mane. She only imagined what it felt like for her child. But after a moment she decided that Aslan wouldn't let her fall and she swung one leg over his side and with half of her almost sliding off, leaned her head against the soft fur of him mane. At the moment she imagined she had felt nothing more comforting in the world it was so soft. But then, maybe seeing Caspian when she woke up on the Dark Isle was more comforting. He wouldn't be there to hold her anymore. At first she did't want to sleep, partialy for fear of bad dreams that haunted her enough as is, but he said just what she would want to hear, as always, and she quickly fell asleep.

Aslan purred softly as she slept, all three of them invisible and undetectable to any, be they immortal or not. With his voice he played sweet dreams through her mind, so soft and lovely that she might never want to wake. The war was over, and she was back in the castle with her beloved Caspian. Galen at her side and her newborn son in her arms. A calming fire in the hearth of their bedroom, and a starry night in the window. Caspian knelt beside her and Galen, listening to her sweet lullabye for the babe, joining in whatever words he knew. Sweetly, sweetly dreaming the Queen was upon his back. And an equal dream for her sons.

The changeling roared viciously. He didn't care for Lamont's childish games, only let him play because he had nothing beter to do. But this time he did, he had a kingdom to conquor. He lunged at the boy and tore Susan away with his claws. The weak human fell to the ground, holding her child within her, and let out a single scream as he sprang. His claws dug deep into her belly, slashing through her dress and tearing through her skin. His teeth sank into her throat instantly craving her life's blood like a vampire. But the blood never rushed into his open mouth and he scrambled back spitting the splinters from his mouth as the vile scent of Aslan that clung to her wooden body stung his nostrils. He spat the name of the lion and turned back to the lion. "Illusion," He growled, "As we should have guessed. The real Aslan wouldn't allow his precious children to be in any danger. We go back now, back to the castle. Peter, Edmund, all of the narnians, even some of the telmeranes, all await their destruction tonight!" The army roared and turned towards the castle. They would not grow weary, how could they, but they were growing annoyed with the plans changing back and forth every moment. They would fight even more fiercly now.

Susan opened her eyes to paradice. The ground seemed almost transparent, the sky so close. Stars twinkled above her though the light of the sun was almost blinding. Surrounding her feet was a field of flowers, the petals seemingly made of rainbows constantly shifting and changing. She reached down to pick one ad her hand ran through it as though it was pure light and energy. She smiled, wondering if there was an end to this world or if it ran on forever. But she didn't need to walk far to be happy.
"Caspian!" She ran to him, throwing her arms aroud her husband and kissing him. Beside him were their beautiful daughters laughing and happy. Galen, a boy now and strong looking for his age, ran to greet them as well. And then newcommers came. Children she didn't know, but whished she did, came and hugged her. both were young, infants probably, a boy and girl. They wrapped their arms around her, giggling as they did for children didn't need a reason to be happy. She tried to devote her attention to the children that surrounded her, but she couldn't leave her husband. She could have cried but in this land there were no tears. "I've missed you so much already."

(OOC 1: Cot, that decoy is of real flesh and blood. It was simply made of a coatrack, but it's not actually made of wood. ) (OOC 2: Since Caspi is dead and Aslan is getting boring, I'm gonna rp Caspi in Susu's dream so I can keep posting) Caspian hugged his wife, kissing her and their children. "I was never gone." he said, running his fingers through his hair. But he still couldn't believe that she was actually here, beside him. He scooped her up into his arms and spun her around. "I'm never going to let you down." he said, more of a promise than anything else.
