The Christmas Ball

[Annabelle Moonhart]

Anna quickly turned and caught up with him, snatching Nicole in her arms. Where had Devon gone? She searched for him on the ground, but didn't see him. She looked down at Nicole and swore. With a final glare at Andrew, she flew off, taking refuge on the mountain peak again. She had to wait for him to leave before she could take Nicole anywhere. She didn't want to be followed.

[Devon Carter]

Devon Punched Andrew in the face " I told you this wasn't over you little bitch" Devon yelled out his form " Carter" Then he took his weapons from him and threw them "Look no weapons, no magic, nothing just one on on "He balled up his fist "you think you fighter well lets go asshole"

[Nicole Celestica]

Andrew laughed as he was puched across the face. "Are you an idiot? What are you going to hold on to? We are in the air and i'm still in human form." Andrew said as he grabbed Devon before he fell. "Look, i really don't want to start this. I'll forgive you for what you said so just go before i drop you and you die on impact. Even the form you have now can't save you from that."Andrew said as he held Devon away from his body so he couldn't attack him, but also so he could see how far he was from the ground.

Anna looked over, finally noticing the two in the air. She rolled her eyes and flew, snatching Devon from Andrew's grip. "Till next week." she said, carrying the Murderer boy in one talon, Nicole in the other. She held the both of them close to her, so that Andrew would not be able to get at either of them. "Don't be stupid, leave the fight alone for now." she said to Devon. "Do you not see how hurt and wounded your love is?" Anna nodded to Nicole. "There are more important things than fighting right now, unless you don't truly love her." Anna said this with challenge in her voice. She never had believed that Devon had loved Nicole. He was just another man out to break girls' hearts. Anna had seen those like him before. "Be wise, Stupid Boy."

[Nicole Celestica]

Andrew glared at Anna when she came for the boy. Andrew snickered"Here take him I don't want him." Andrew tossed the boy to the griffin and watched them fly off. Andrew sighed"Well this was a wasted day."he said as he flew off in the opposite direction. He really didn't feel like playing tag.

Anna thought for a long while, and decided that she still didn't want this boy in her home, nor to be aware of its location. "Lad," she said. "You can't come home with me, so your time with her is limited. I'll be dropping you off somewhere soon. You can't follow us, so I think that it would be wise for you to use your time wisely. If I were you, I'd start off with an apology." she half snarled at him. Anna looked down at Nicole again and nudged her with her beak. "Wake up, Child." she pleaded.

Nicole was concious she could hear everything they said. She could still hear thoughts she just really didn't want to though. What Andrew had said hurt and torn her to pieces. "Did he really die? Was it true what he said? Did i kill him that day?" Nicole thought all of these things but nothing was helping her. That's when Sevona started talking. "Listen to me nicole, no matter what happened it wasn't your fault. You had nothing to do with him. He isn't your responsability."[/color]Nicole didn't listen she knew very well he was her responsibility he was her brother and she, his own sister had killed him. Nicole opened her eyes when Anna nudged her. "I'm awake Anna i've heard every word."Nicole said

Anna smiled. "Good." she said. "At least your ears are working. How are you feeling?" she asked her. "You fell unconscious after you changed back from that dragon. Are you okay?" Anna inquired concernedly, much in a motherly tone.

[Nicole Celestica]

"I'm fine, Its.......complicated. I'm compleatly and utterly fine though." Only half of the truth, yes she was physically fine but she was broken from the inside out. Anna only wanted to know if she was fine physically so she had given her the answwer she wanted. Nicole was just having a little trouble dealing with the pain inside.

[Annabelle Moonhart]

Anna frowned sadly. "Don't lie to me, Child." she said. "You're forgetting what I am. An animal. I can feel the sorrow all over you, as if you were dipped in its perfume. What's wrong?" she asked.

[Nicole Celestica]

Nicole sighed she really didn't want to get into this not even with Anna."Anna.....please this is something I have to work out on my own." Nicole didn't like saying this to Anna but it was for the best of both of them.

[Annabelle Moonhart]

"Okay." Anna said, but she had already decided to ask later, when Nicole might be feeling a little better. Their home was drawing nearer, and Devon would have to go about now. So Anna flew low to the ground and set him just outside the forest's edge. "Sorry, boy, but you'll have to find your way back on your own." Then Anna flew down into the canyon to throw him off. They would pull up again once they got nearer to the burrow. Anna placed Nicole on her back now so that she could lay down if she wanted too instead of being cramped in Anna's talons, even though they didn't have far to go to get home. "Are you hungry?" Anna asked. "I could make you some soup or something when we get home." she offered.

"No, not really i just need to think things through." Nicolr sid as she sat upright on Anna. She really didn't want to sleep cause if she did she knew she would have nightmares.

[Annabelle Moonhart]

"How about some hot tea and cookies?" Anna asked softly. She felt bad for Nicole. She had heard what Andrew had said. "It helps to soothe the mind. Really it does. My mother used to give it to me all the time whenever I was troubling over something."

[Nicole Celestica]

"Sure why not?"Nicole said. Perhaps it would help, besides she would have Anna with her. Nicole would get through this she knew she would. She had her friends with her, nothing could stop her. "I just hope devon doesn't go after Andrew.
