Nicole watched as he came in again for another kiss but this time nicole mived so that he actually kissed her on the lips as Nicole returned the kiss. "THat you can only do when i say." she grinned at him. She smiled "We should probably do this somewhere else. i'm not a big fan of being watched." she turned to see everyone staring.

Devon looked around " umm yeah, same here" Devon smiled at her then looked around and didn't see katrina anywhere so he kept it to himself "hey you wanna come walk with me for a while"

Nicole looked around devon's thought was true they weren't here, Nicole should of noticed it but she was busy. "I don't think they will let us leave. Also we would never truely be alone." She took a glance at anna and hoped devon had caught on.

Anna growled as she watched the little scene. She stood and walked towards them, picking Nicole up and placing her on her back, and then, with regret, she placed Devon on her back too. "Be weary and cautious, Child." Anna warned her. "I don't trust him. His moods move too quick, and he takes you too fast to be in love." The Gryphon shook her head. "Just be careful."

Nicole was happy they were finnaly leaving the trial. THe other girl was gone so there was nothing to worry about. "Hey ANna, i think i'm finnaly ready for breakfast." She said her stomach growling, as she laughed.

"Alright." she said, taking flight without warning the boy. She didn't care if he fell off or not. "What is it that humans eat again?" asked the creature. It was clear that she was going to search it out and find it for her in the forest now. She didn't want Devon knowing where, much less coming into, her burrow.

The others were gone. Katrina and the boy were gone as well. At least they were spared the fate Caspian gave her. She had wanted to as of Devon's connection with Lamont, one she knew he had since she first saw him. But he was gone and she and Caspian were alone. She didn't understand how he could go from enemy to friend so quickly, but the way he had acted around Nicole told her more than everything. He had backed down from the battle just as Caspian did when she cried. Just thinking of him caused her to lean back against his chest, letting his arms sheild her from the cold.

Caspian rubbed her shoulders. He wasn't sure what exactly had just happened. He didn't know who won, or who lost, nothing was clear to him. Well... one thing was clear to him. Susan was safe. Their son was safe. He was safe. And all of them were cold. The man with the whip had lost his arm, but it couldn't be helped now. He had already gone to the medical chambers, and there was nothing that Caspian could do about it. The mob of people were slowly disappearing, and everything seemed quiet now. Some were disassembling the stake. "Let's get you out of the snow." he whispered to her. "You're freezing."

"I'm fine," she lied knowing he could feel her body shivering under his hands. she was still angry with him for his determination to have Katrina killed, no mater what she said she wanted. It still wasn't right. If it wasn't for that boy she would already be dead.

Part of her wanted to to just fall back into his arms when he touched her. But she forced herself not to. she would have to keep fighting him if she was ever going to prove anything. "I'll be sore for a while."

She did not sit with him, didn't even face him. "There's nothing left to talk about without repeating myself a dozen times. What you did here was wrong. What you tried to do was wrong. Your becoming something I cannot love and your doing it in Aslan's name."

"Aslan said I could!" he defended, but let it go. His heart was already sunk deep within his chest from her words. "What about now?" he asked. "At least I'm putting an effort to talk to you about it." Caspian turned away from her. "I can't make everybody happy. And sometimes you won't be happy. But please, dearest, understand that everything I do is for your best interest." He frowned.
