A Nice, Cold Drink (Open)

[Nicole Celestica]

"I guess not" Nicole said the only thing she was afraid of was being clumbsy and falling off. It was great being up here feeling the sun on her face and feeling free. Nicole let go of Anna and stretched her arms out.

[Annabelle Moonhart]

Anna nodded. The night wind touched her face and she closed her eyes, enjoying it. "Where do you want to go?" she asked.

[Nicole Celestica]

"Anywhere. It's not like i have anywhere to go."Nicole said she really didn't have a place to stay. She enjoyed Anna's company so why not stay longer?

[Annabelle Moonhart]

"You don't have a home?" Anna asked, frowning. She flapped her wings gracefully, carrying them in no place inpaticular.

[Nicole Celestica]

Nicole chuckled. "I used to. it really doesn't bother me anymore." Nicole said enjoying the breeze of the night. It was comfortable flying, as the sun started to rise.

[Annabelle Moonhart]

"No home?" said Annabelle, sadly. Everybody needed a home. "You can stay with me if you like." she offered. "It's not staying in a house, but it's comfortable and warm." she promised. "Just so you've got a place to turn to, you know." she said, flying a little higher. "What do you think?"

[Nicole Celestica]

"Sure. I don't want to intrude though. It doesn't bother me slepping in the forest. " Nicole said bringing her hands back in. "I'm pretty tired though." Nicole said yawning. It didn't take long for Nicole to fall asleep on the griffin's back against her fur.

[Annabelle Moonhart]

"You wouldn't be intruding." Anna said, but was quiet then when she realized that the girl was sleeping. She continued her flight, tilting this way and that like and gliding like a cradle. The gryffin flew above the forest, searching for her home.

[Nicole Celestica]

Nicole slept. SHe hadn't gotten much rest lately. SHe awoke to find the griffon still flying in the air. " I'm so sorry how long have i been asleep?" Nicole asked. "You should of woken me up i'm so sorry." nicole couldn't stop saying sorry she didn't know why.

[Annabelle Moonhart]

"Only a few seconds." Anna chuckled. "And it's alright, really. We're almost home." she told her, gliding down to the forest floor. Tall, ancient trees lived here, and the gryffin brushed away a log to reveal a deep burrow. Anna walked down into it, and when the ground became flat again, crouched so that Nicole could get off. A fire was lit, the smoke traveling through a small tunnel in the wall with a pile of dry wood beside it. There was a large nest in the corner made of green pine needles and moss, and a folded animal fur lie beside it. The lion-bird told the girl to wait, and left the home for a moment. She made sure to return quickly, just a few minutes or so, with fresh pine and moss on her back. Annabelle neatly put together a comfortable nest for the girl, and then stepped into another chamber of the burrow, returning with a large bearskin, tossing it over the new nest and folding it back. "This will be your bed." said Annabelle proudly. It was just as comfortable, if not more, than one of those human beds. And it smelled better, too. "This is the bedroom." she told her. "I'll give you a tour tomorrow, but for now you should get some rest."

Nicole didn't have to be told twice. She quickly thanked the griffon and went to her makeshift bed. "i know this might sound a little sarcastic but isn't it tecnically tomorrow already?" Nicole yawned as she said this trying to stay awake. THe bed was comfortable as she laid down waiting for Anna's thoughts.

[Annabelle Moonhart]

"Yes." she chuckled, curling up inside her own bed and covering up with the animal hide. "But try and get some sleep now." said Anna, folding her wings under the covers.

Nicole couldn't stay awake it was moments before the dream came.


(Silent screams surrounded her, she didn't know what was going on. People were runing away from something but she didn't know what it was. "Look out!" Sevona shouted in her head. Flames flickered past her as the village burst into flames. Nicole couldn't escape, the dream felt so real the heat of the flames and everything. "You idiot. Watch out the house is collapsing." Sevona creamed in her head. nicole couldn't concentrate with Sevona shouting at her. THen the house close to her collaped as a piece of the roof fell on top of her. Nicole couldn't move fast enough her breath let her in a whooshing sound. SHe couldn't move as the flames got closer. Another figure appeared in the smoke at first nicole thought it was the man but it wasn't but her brother. "Hello big sister i've finnaly found you. It's time to finish the job once and for all." he said laughing at her as his weapon pierced Nicole's neck.)

Nicole jolted from her sleep sweet pouring from her forehead. "Andrew." was all she could say.

[Annabelle Moonhart]

Anna hadn't even fallen asleep yet. She knew it would take a long while to do so now, with her wound. She sat up and looked at the child. "A Nightmare?" she asked, though the answer was obvious. Annabelle sat there for a moment, giving the girl a chance to realize that she was home, and not wherever her dream had taken place. Then she got up and left the room, returning with a glass of water. She set it down beside Nicole. "Here." Anna said kindly, and then crawled back into bed. "What happened?"

Nicole was shaking she gladly excepted the drink when it was offered. She arched her back breathing heavily as she tried to get the dream out of her head. "Everything, happend everything from my worst nightmares." She answered when ANna asked her. Nicole felt a wierd sensation overflow her as Sevona came back.
