Sevona slowly retracted her claws tearing skin with them as she jumped off the griffin's back. "I will be going now." Sevona said starting to trot off. The rain had started to let up somewhat and Sevona liked that. She hated her fur wet. Sevona paid close attention as she walked away somewhere deep inside her she knew the griifin wasn't ready to give up just yet.

Anna followed, hiding from tree to tree and staying out of sight. She some how got an idea in her head that so long as the demon was in its dog form, Nicole wouldn't be hurt. But she wondered if she should risk it. Following would have to do for now. Where was the girl now? Why hadn't she even made an attempt to come back?

Sevona snickered to herself as the griffin followed her. It was fun playing with people's emotions especially when you could here every thought they were making. How many times did Sevona have to tell hte griffin? Nicole just vanished, Sevona herself didn't know what hhad happened to the girl. Therre was one thing though she really didn't want to admit, she did need the girl. If the girl dissapeared for to long Sevona would be hurt too. Sevona reached into her own subcontious searching desperetly for the girl even the slightest trace would be enough. Sevona laid down letting the rain hit her fur as she went even deeper within her own mind.

Anna stopped an watched curiously. What was she doing? Annabelle had thought that she was going to Lamont, and now she was sleeping. Something was wrong. Something was very wrong.

Sevona felt nothing, nothing at all. She ususuallly could feel Nicole's presense at least but there was nothing at all. "nicole!" she shouted. "So help me if you don't answer me i'll........." Sevona couldn't finish her sentence as her body felt really really weak. Sevona was forced out of her own subconcious because she couldn't keep enugh strength to stay there. Sevona's body was shaking wildly as she returned. "Great it has already started." She thought to herself she couldn't do anything she didn't want to die but Nicole was nowhere to be found.

What have you done?! Anna yelled to the demon, rushing out of the bushes. Something was wrong, and she knew it. Where is the child? She nudged Sevona's body as if Nicole might reappear, but it didn't happen. If you kill her, you die too. Anna warned, trying to convince the beast to save Nicole if she was in trouble. And no demon power can save you.

Sevona just listened to the griffin. "I tried, i tried..." was all sevona could muster as the griffin nudged her. "nicole won't answer me she won't........" Sevona couldn't answer as another spasm shot up her spine sevona had never felt htis kind of pain but she had heard it was the worst way to die. "I can't.......i can't find her." Sevona started again. For once Sevona wanted the girl to answer she wanted someone to do something anything to get the worthless girl back but as sevona had realized the girl wasn't as worthless as Sevona had thought.

Child! Anna yelled into Sevona's ear as if Nicole might hear her. The lion-bird stomped her feet on the ground, frustrated and trying to think. Get out of this demon form. she demanded, shaking Sevona. It'd be easier for her to come back if it was actually her body.

Nicole hadn't felt anything in a long time. At first she was scared of the darkness but now it really didn't bother her. Nicole had been in the darkness for what she thought was hours. What was happining? She knew that Sevona had done this. What had she said though? "It must be a spell." Nicole concluded to herself. Nicole sat down she needed to remember what her other self had said.

Close your eyes and don't think about anything. Don't say anything. Play dead. Anna thought. Don't do anything that could prevent her from coming back. If you killed her, you've killed youself.

Sevona didn't like being ordered around but she couldn't really move anyway. Sevona grunted and laid still as she dismembered the spell by muttering a few words. (nicole sat there still she couldn't remember anything before the darkness. That's when the light came. Nicole shook the light had returned but she couldn't help but shake she had been in the darkness too long. SHe saw the past and what had happend when she was in the darkness. She grunted as the pain of what Sevona had done hit her. "S..Sevona is a demon?" Nicole said as she fell to her knees as blood ran down her mouth. Nicole coughed a few times as she heard Sevona's voice.) "Brat!!!! Where have you been!!!" SEvona entered nicole's subconcious letting nicole drift back to her body. Nicole didn't answer as soon as she came back to her body her wounds appeared and she fel unconcious.

Anna carried the child back to the cave. At least she was back now. The lion-bird cleaned the wounds carefully and put a mighty wing over her again, waiting for her to wake up. She liked this new friend of hers, and waited for her to open her eyes so that Annabelle could tell her what had happened.

(Nicole wasn't sure what was going on if it was a dream or real. Though the walking on air was dream-like. Nicole was sure she was dreaming but anything could happen. A few minutes earlier she had realized that her "other side" was really a demon. Nicole wasn't paying attention she walked right off the cloud she was on.) Nicole jolted from the ground. SHe shreiked jumping caused her wounds to open. It hurt as she realized Anna was with her. "It hurts." she said out loud. She laid back down but the bleeding on her shoulder wouldn't stop.

"Shhhh..." said Anna, pressing against the girl's shoulder to stop the blood. "It's alright." The gryffin cleaned the wounds again and lay her wing back over her. "You've had it rough, but you'll be alright." Anna preened Nicole's hair again as if it were like feathers. "You're lucky that the demon let go of you." she said.

Nicole flinched as the griffon pressed on the wound. Nicole didn't answer she really didn't like the fact that she had a demon inside her. "Why? Why did he put a demon inside me? I'm not really all that special." nicole said aloud. She ment it as a retorical question but she had said it out loud anyway.
