She fought back not wanting her dagger in the hands of another. She shifted her hand a bit higher so part of her hand was on the blade itself. She ignored the blood that trickled down her arm from the wound now on her palm. Her eyes started to turn red. She wasn't about to change, no just the pain sparked her other side. It was the smell and sight of the blood. She ignored it and fought harder till she got her dagger back. Backing up she watched as the storm grew stronger and the ran fell harder.

His eyes watched the blood on her arm for a moment, but he turned back to her. Damian pressed the flat part of his blade against her chest, not wanting to really get serious and draw anymore of her blood. He pushed his blade against her, and pulled on the handle of her dagger again with his other hand, trying to pry it from her stong grasp.

Len didn't let him get the upper hand. She shoved his blade away from her at the same time dropping her blade. She was free. Backing up she turned the rain to ice as it fell still protected in her bubble. She smiled, her eyes glowing their strange red color. "This is interesting, isn't it" She asked with a laugh.

Damian snatched her dagger, aiming both of them towards her now. He dipped his head as each pellet of hail fell upon his skull. "Ow!" he complained, his head still bobbing. He felt ridicules, like a baby bird. "That hurts." He didn't see why she had to pelt him with ice. It wasn't really doing much besides hurting his head. Damian leapt at her, blades folded back and hands aiming for her shoulders.

Len smiled and jumped back she turned the ice back to rain. In one hand an ice blade appeared. She hadn't used this weapon before but in should help a bit. She dogged his attack ignoring her throbbing hand. Her eyes still glowed red but she was happy that she hadn't changed to her other side.

Damian turned, and began striking her ice blade with the two daggers in an attempt to shatter it. To his surprise, it didn't seem as weak as he had thought. Not even a crack had come of his attacks. It was as strong as steel. He could fix that. The Fire Spirit exhaled deeply, breathing his hot breath onto her ice-blade and melting it in a cloud of steam.

Len shook her head knowing that would happen. Fire and ice didn't go as well together but what about fire and fire? She drew her fire blade she knew this would melt metal if it came into contact. The blade shone almost blue from the extreme heat. The storm let up reviling the sun. She enjoyed the warmth. Out of now where she started to laugh.

Damian tilted his head like a dog, lost by confusion. "What's so funny?" he asked. This was weird. Her eyes had been red for some time, too. He thought it best to end this as soon as possible, the way things were going, and the Fire Spirit didn't hold back any more. He leapt into her blade, becoming part of the fire and snaking around her feet, trying to make her stumble and fall if he could.

Len decided there was no way she could fight while she laughed. She made it look like she tripped and fell backwards. She sighed as she finished laughing. She looked up waiting for Damian to reappear. She shook her head, her eyes were back to normal and there was a smile across her face.

Damian blinked in the fire, still very confused. He could never figure out what was so funny. When he thought that she fell, the Spirit turned back and was upon her in an instant, struggling to pin her shoulders down.

Len fell backwards with her hands behind her head. She smiled. "You win for now" She teased. Len looked up at the clear sky enjoying the peace.

"Good Duel." responded Dami, getting off of her and sitting in the grass. He handed Len her dagger back, and then sheathed his own at his belt. "You fight well." he told her. "But seriously, what was so funny?" the Fire Spirit finally had to ask. "And how is your hand?" he noticed that it was still bleeding.

Len smiled. "The look on your face when you were really into the fight" She said. It was true she never noticed anyone look like that when they fought just the pure concentration and demand to win caught her off guard. She looked at her hand. Len didn't even realize that the wound was still bleeding. "It's fine" She said.

"My face?" Damian repeated, laughing. He hadn't ever seen his own face during a fight, and no one had ever commented on it. The man took off his belt, setting his dagger beside him, and wrapped her hand carefully. "Now it's fine." he said. It'd have to do until she could get a proper bandage. Damian went on with the conversation, "You should have seen your own face." he said, "Your eyes turned red."

She looked down at her bandage. "Thanks" Her smile faded a bit when he mentioned the eyes. "Yeah well that isn't always a good thing" She said wondering what would have happened if she fully changed.
