Len still watched. She winced at what the demon's power did to Lamont. She didn't want to think too much about it. She just watched not wanting to get her hands dirty.

Devon held out his arm " Healing breeze" Devon looked at Nicole "nice to meet you, I'm Devon" hey put his daggers away " Lamont is strong but not strong enough, so What are you doing out here"

Nicole watched as the boy healed himeself. "I got lost" she said. She wasn't ready to tell the real reason just yet she didn't really know Devon so she couldn't trust him. She really didn't feel like giving a speech right now eighter. Nicole sighed it had been a long day. She sat down expecting the boy to ask her another question like"is that the truth ?" or "Why would a girl like you get lost here?". SHe sighed again but for once she wouldn't care if there was only silence.

Devon droped to the ground " ughhh im beat what about you" Devon watched as she stood there then pointed next to him " I won't bite, come sit down" Devon pulled out a canteen with some juices in it " It's a drink I made calms me down after fighting" he took a drink " wow that's good.

Nicole looked at Devon. "I never........well ok."Nicole said sitting next to him. She watched him take a drink from his canteen. "So did you get lost too?" she asked lokking at him with a smirk on her face.

Devon looked trying to be sarcastic " No, I like to walk through the desert looking for people run up to them, tap on the shoulder and go hey what's going on...of course im lost" Devon threw his necklace to her " Why do u have one of these" Devon held out his hand "give me your necklace so I can examinant it myself"

Nicole held back a laugh she liked this kid. SHe caught his necklace as he through it to her. "What do you mean?" Nicole looked at him. "Is it wrong to were a necklace?" nicole grinned she new that wasn't what he meant she just wanted to tease him. "THis necklace was my mother's and i would rather it stay on my neck if you don't mind." she said tossing back his necklace. "Yours is pretty neat. One question though? How did you do that magic stuff? It was like you were a whole other person." Nicole finished waiting.

Devon caught his necklace " Well My dad was a pyro user he like alot of fire and my mom was a Witch, So I learned everything from them, I took alot of monk training from a friend and taught myself to kill and walk through the shadows" Devon looked her with a smile and threw her an apple " Enough about me what about you, Where you from and what are you doing out here"

Nicole caught the apple it was nice talking to someone but this conversation was definitally going in the wrong direction. "I am from just outside Narnia's borders i used to live there with my parents and brother. And like you i'm not out here to poke someone i got lost too."

Devon Looked up with a bright smile "ahhh now were getting somewhere, your lost, don't know where to go, but wait I come to the rescue get you out of here get where I need to go and look every one's happy the king and quenn got away some big giant flying dude, I beat up lamont which means now he's after me which is bad but im gonna kill him anyways and im hungry" Devon picked up an apple took a bite and and made a camp for him to lay "well imma just lay here and look at the stars you ever look at the stars" Devon looked up amazed "look at those stars, how do they get so bright and shiny"

Nicole smirked this kid wasreally random. "I used to always watch the stars with my parents." She said answering his star comment. "OH and as i recall you didn't come in and ssave me at all. I came in and got that beast for you remember? Otherwise everything else you said is basically right about Lamont and all." SHe said mimicking his smile.

Devon looked at her "It dosen't matter I live to fight another day right, So I don't care who's after me" Devon looked back up " reach into my bag over there, look very deep inside there is a box open it up, and there will be a fox, her name is kumi pet her gentle ok then she will like u trust me" Devon thought about his mom and dad and even his little sister "you have any siblings"

"A Fox?" Nicole asked a little concerned. Nicole reached into his bag and found something like the box he had mentioned. SHe opened the box and inside was a small white fox curled up asleep. "Oh my she is so beautiful." nicole gently picked up the fox and stroked her fur. Nicole's eyes dropped to hte fox when Devon asked about her family. "yeah i have a brother. "was her only responce.

Lamont stretched for a second and then ran after his master. After that little pretend to be Caspian's father thing he never let him ride him anymore. So he ran after the flying chimera, his feet sinking in the sand with each step. But he was stronger than the adverage human and he could cross the whole desert if he had to. He didn't actualy know where he was going so using the spirits to get him there wouldn't help this time. He would just follow his master's nose.
