She hid watching from the trees. He held her tight as she cried. Words were shared between them, sad words that she could never forgive herself for. She understood them well for it was she who caused them. For a long while he tried to comfort her, but in the end she fled leaving him alone, his arms outstretched for a moment as he tried to reach for her. He knew it would be no use to follow and did not. It was only then did the elf leap down to face him.
"Do you remember me Caspian?" She asked when she knew he had noticed her. "Do you remember everything we've done, what you said and did, what I taught you and what you taught me? Or has Queen Susan's existence cursed your memory that you don't remember."

(OOC: I found that kind of hard to understand...)
"Susan has never cursed me, nor will she ever." Caspian said. He could barely remember this person. Only perhaps from childhood, but only faintly. He couldn't even place her name. "Who are you?" he had to ask, finally. She was crying, and he wanted to comfort her. But he was confused. "I'm not trying to offend you or anything," he assured her, "But I don't think I know you."

((OOC: I wanted it to))
"But you have to remember!" She came closer to him, enough that she could have reached and touched him if she felt the need. "Katrina Ravenfrost, The Wand-wielder. You have to remember. I was there when you were young, I was there when the kings and queens left. I left because I was too afraid to talk to you, I came back because I had to see you again. I didn't realize you had completaly frogotten me, and everything you did and said." She dropped her head and shook it. "Susan has cursed you, you just don't realize it. Becasuse of her you've frogotten, just as she wanted you to. Let me restore your memories, then Narnia will be as it should be and you will be free from her."

Caspian let lose a growl and grabbed her arm tightly. "Listen to me, and listen well." he said. "Susan is my wife, and my truest friend. If you are with Narnia, as you claim you are, you may win my friendship over time. But do not insult my wife. Do you understand?" Caspian had pulled her close from his grip, and he was practically yelling straight into her face. This was a bit of a harsh reaction, but no one had ever accused Susan of such things before. Ever. He had never had to deal with such actions. The King looked into her eyes and said. "I remember you faintly. I think I once called you Katy, as a child." he said. That had been the childhood name that he had given her. "Didn't you watch me while my parents were away or something? That's all I can remember so far." he said. His grip was released quickly as he realized he was still holding on to her arm. "I'm sorry about that." he told the girl. Now he felt a little bad, grabbing the arm of a crying girl. It was just his instinctive reaction to her attacks on Susan, he hadn't really meant anything by it as far as harming her. "My deepest appologies, truely." Caspian repeated.

She flinched as he took hold of her. With a shake of her arm the wand fell from it's holding place in her sleave into her hand. She didn't want to use it, but she would if she must. "I was Katy," She said after his apology not knowing why he didn't remember. If it wasn't a curse then what caused him to forget so easily. "I did take care of you while you were a boy. Your parents trusted me over your uncle. I found reasons as to why later, but now they don't matter, you've found out for yourself." She stopped for a while and moved closer to him again and took his hand with one and put her other on his chest. No longer afraid of what he may say or do to her. "But there was more. Much, much more. After Susan left for England I went back to you. You remembered me then, you cared for me then. I told you I had been living as a slave and you let me stay in the castle, not even as a servant, but as a friend. It was an honor I didn't deserve. I resolved to care for you as you grieved over something I didn't understand, and in this I was sucessful more than I had hoped. You would come for me when I called for you, and I did the same. At night you would hold me in moonlight humming whatever song pleased you. I was your lover and still am. Susan has taken these memories from you away in attempt to take my place. She is cruel and hateful, only wanting me to be cast aside. Hoping she would not hurt you I gave in to her harsh demands and retreated into the woods, but I can hide no longer. I must return to the arms of the man who loves me. You are that man Caspian, you always will be."

Caspian backed away from her touch. Only Susan was allowed to touch him like that. Only Susan. "Yes, I remember you now. I did welcome you into the castle, but as a friend only. The last part of what you said is not true in the least. I did hold you in the moonlight and sing. I did not love you as anything more than a friend. You were never my lover, nor has anyone else ever been besides my wife." Caspian grabbed her wand from her as she spoke so harshly again of Susan. "You have bewitched yourself with false memories." he told her. "Susan is the kindest lady in all of Narnia and Telmar and the whole world. And she is the only lady for me. I'm sorry, but your going to have to get yourself out of this spell and into reality. I have other people to save from spells." Caspian said, and turned to leave, taking her wand with him. "If you're wise, you would neither speak nor thing another word against her." he turned around. "I'd like to be your friend again, but I cannot if you are going to talk this way of my lover. Come again when you have some respect for her."

"I don't do this out of disrespect, but out of truth." She defended not admiting she was hurt as he backed away from her. "You did love me, you said it yourself. I know my power well, there is no spell that holds me. You are the one mislead, and it pains me to see it." From her arm she took off a bracelet so far up her sleve that no one could see it unless she showed it to them. The bracelt was of gold, but thin and flexed like rubber to be stretched over what may be the thickest of arms, though in this case it was not. "You gave this to me. It is a symbol of my people. It is binding in all ways, through magic, earth, sky and heart. I told you this when you gave it and said it did't matter, that you would love me to Narnia's end. I haved lived this long by your promise alone. You swore to come back when I called, yet you do not. Because you have forsaken me I have suffered at the hands of demons seeking my power. You did love me, you made a heart's promise by giving me this. I was to be your wife, not her."

Caspian looked at it. "Anyone could have given you that." he said. "But it wasn't me. I swear to you. I'm sorry, but I'm not the man you seek. You were not to be my wife. I've never loved you in that way, only as a friend. And even that is hard to remember. But what I do remember is running through the pumpkin fields, smashing those vegetables like nobody's business. Four hundred I broke beneath my sword. I read books to try and get my mind off of her, but that didn't work. I have the tearstains on the pages to prove it. And I carved her name. Every day that she was gone. Our name. I encased it in a heart. I have never done that for you." Caspian told her. "I love Susan and no other. I'm sorry. And I didn't give you that bracelet." he turned it over on her arm carefully, looking at it just to be sure. She was kind of freaking him out. There was no name on it. It was just a band of gold. "I am married. I have a wife that loves me and I love her. We have a son, too." Caspian knew that if Katy was as crazed as he thought she was, this would probably hurt her. He didn't tell her that he wasn't the blood father, because it didn't matter. Caspian was Galen's father at heart. "And we are going to have more children." he added. All of this information he was giving her was just one big warning for her to stay away from him. They could be friends, but not lovers. They had never been lovers, and Caspian knew that it was true. He had never loved anyone else besides Susan. "I'm sorry." he said again. "But you are crazed. Perhaps Lamont has poisoned you. You should go and see the medicine men. I have never loved you."

"I have never made trade with that demon child of a demon sire!" She yelled at him hating to raise her voice. Her inability to reconize and control emotions was coming through. She didn't like it, but didn't know what to do with it. Emotions just came through her and lashed out. The only exceptions were love for Caspian and pride for what she was. That was all. "I have nothing, nor will ever have anything to do with him and his master! I hate them for all they've done! I've done my share of things I regret, but they've done a thousand things more a thousand times worse and still hold their heads high. Do not ever Think I have sided with them. I have made to many wrong friends to do it now." She felt her body grow weak, as if she had run across a dessert with no water. "I need something. Can I at least have my wand back?"

"Well, you already have something to do with him, because he's my cousin." Caspian said bitterly. It wasn't a bitterness towards the crazed girl, but towards his cousin. He hated admitting that Lamont was actually family. When she asked her question, Caspian thought for a moment. "No." he answered. "If you have it back, you might hurt Susan. You seem to hate her enough." Caspian said. He knew it was a cruel thing to do to take her wand from her, but it must be done if it endangered Susan even in the slightest. His wife had enough people coming after her so constantly, she didn't need another.

"I know who he is, I knew his father and I hate the both of them to this day and praise Susan for killing him before she left." She forced her anger away. She had to control herself, espessialy around him if she was going to be accepted again. If anything, she was an elf and her people's emotions were meant to be hidden from humans, or any other beast for that matter. "I do not hate the gentle queen." She defended herself. "My heart burns for the man she stole for more and for that I know I am angry. But I do not hate. Besides, with that wand there is only one spell that can kill. I hoped never to use it and I never will do it again. There's not a moment that passes where I don't regret using it. All I want is something to eat. your precious susan is safe until Lamont comes for her."

"She didn't steal anything from you. And she did not kill my Uncle. That man, his right hand or whoever he was, took one of her arrows and thrust it into his back." Caspian said. " And you and I were never in a relationship." he told her sternly. Then he held the wand tightly incase she should try to take it from him. "You may have it then, under one condition." he paused. "You did you kill, that you regret so much?" Caspian asked. "Speak the truth, and you may have your wand back, for a moment."

No He was not suppose to ask her why she used the spell. To tell him would be to push him away, never to speak with him again. Something built inside her, an emotion she did not reconize. It tried to turn into anger, but out of need to control herself she pushed it aside. "With that as payment for my wand . . . "She had to think for a moment. She couldn't tell him what she had done. "I'd rather go to the moutains and spend years singing to make a new one then tell you. I don't want to, but if you insist I'll go."

"If you can't tell me the answer to that simple question, then I can't give you your wand back." Caspian said. But they could use her as an ally, if she could kill with it. "But I'll make you deal," he began. "If you give me something that I can rest assured will keep you from harming Susan, something that I can hang on to, then I'll give you your wand back." he said. "But, you'll also have to help up Narnia and Telmar in the war. You'd be a useful member, especially in healing, if you can conduct healing magic." Lennia was a good witch, and Caspian and Susan trusted her. But her magic was not for healing, she had said so herself. But Caspian was sure to include, "You'd be second witch to Lennia."

"I can heal, it dosen't mean I'm any good at it." she told him simply as a warning, "It's a painful prosess, more so then the pain they origianly had. I'm still young, I haven't perfected it yet and with nearly a decade in hiding as a human slave, and then hiding from Lamont I haven't used alot of magic reciently so I'm rusty. But I will not use it to kill if that's what you want. A battle should be fought with honor, sword to sword, not by an unfair advantage givin to me by a piece of wood I sang to for a year and a half. I've always thought this, don't think it's from what I did."
