Len took the child no questions asked. She looked down at him with a smile. "They wouldn't of given him back to Susan, no that demon would have killed him or something" She said with a sigh.

The Fire Spirit shuddered. "It's an aweful crime to kill a child." he said. Then his teeth gritted bitterly, in anger, "But that boy has already done it twice. He's still a child himself." Damian snarled. "You'd think that he'd still have some innocence, but apparently not." He looked back to to Galen. He couldn't imagine him dead. "I hope there's a battle soon." Damian said, half to Lennia and half to himself. He'd like nothing more than to bathe his sword in the blood of the foes of Narnia. Galen let loose a snore and rolled over in Len's arms, snuggling his head against her. Damian laughed quietly. "He's snoring." he chuckled.

Len half laughed at the child. She wrapped her arms tightly around him to keep the small child warm. "I wouldn't be surprised if the boy did kill him" She whispered as if the very mention of the boy would cause Galen to disappear in from her arms. "A fight would be good right know. I wouldn't mind showing that shafting demon what true power is" She said with disgust.

He nodded. "You like fighting to?" he asked, impressed. Damian reached out and stroked the sleeping child's head. The Fire Spirit couldn't believe that a young boy could be so cruel, especially to the Gentle Queen. First he had wrongly sired not one, but three children. But no, the devil didn't stop there. He killed two of them. And now he tore the Queen and her son apart. Damian was in disbelief that someone could actually be that heartless, but yet it had happened right here in Narnia. Nothing would please him more than to see the boy dead.

Len nodded. "I enjoy fighting those who appose me and those whom I seek to protect. That boy and demon hurt not only Susan but her children. I tried to help them once but now the only one alive is the one whom I placed some of my magic in the first time that boy attempted to kill them. The other time I was not there to help. There is no way those two will cause any more pain if I can help it" She said meaning every word of it. Her voice was full of passion and sternness.

Damian nodded. It was a brave statement. "I wouldn't mind sparring with you some time." he smiled at her challengingly. "Tomorrow, perhaps? After Galen is back with his father?" The man asked, inviting her to a duel.

Len nodded. "I wouldn't mind that. We can use magic?" She asked thinking back to the duel with Peter that ended in disaster.

"I would never restrict it." Damian smiled. "It makes it more interesting." He looked around the forest, keeping watch for the beast and its aprentice, but there was no sign of them. "I think we're safe." he commented. "Would you like to head back to the Castle?"

Len nodded. "Yes lets go back. I am sure Caspian would like to see Galen" She said.

Damian looked at her first, making sure that she had a good hold of Galen and wouldn't drop him, before taking her hand and turning all three of them to smoke once more. He liked this method of travel. They floated into the trees and then flew towards the Castle, entering through the grand front door. The Fire Spirit materialized Lennia and Galen and himself, and looked around. The Castle was practically in ruins, but people were already working on mending it. "Has anyone seen King Caspian?" Damian asked aloud. Some of them shrugged, some shook their heads.
Then, one of the nurse maids came up to the three of them. "He rode off with Susan, following the demon." she informed them. "The cousin is gone too."
"Where would they go?" asked Damian. "We have his son." The nurse looked at Galen in shock.
