Caspian smiled and ran back up to her. "Hey! I stole it fair and square!" he argued and pouted, folding his arms. "I want it back!" The man put an arm around her waist and walked beside her, tapping his lips childishly as he waited for her to return the kiss that he had stolen fairly that she had just taken back from him.

"No I don't think I will," She teased again and looked away. she was enjoying this game and wanted it to last. It was a shame she had learned to play it under the watchful eyes of her enemies. "If you want it back you'll have to convince me. It's mine now and I'll do what I want with it."

Caspian thought for a moment. Damn that the centaur was here with them. He couldn't say have the childish remarks that he wanted to, knowing that Susan would laugh at them. Caspian loved to hear her laugh. "I'll tickle you!" he warned. "I swear, I will!" he moved the fingers on his good hand menacingly and grinned. "Give me back by kiss." he demanded, laughing slightly.

"Humans," the beast grumbled as he tightened his grip to a nearly bone-crushing level and pulled her closer to his flank. He couldn't understand why the girl was so happy, nor did he want her to be. He had become so accustomed to seeing and hearing her cry and scream each time she looked at his face that he had come to adore the moments, perhaps even treasure them. But now, to see her laughing and playing with her ex-husband, was almost sickening to him. He walked faster then the normal human's pace, forcing her to keep stride with his long and powerful legs of a warhorse. When he entered the room he threw her in the middle with no regard to the damage he might cause to her already weak body. Anything he would do would be an enlightenment to him anyhow.

She wanted to tease him more and play her game, but couldn't. Pain ravaged her body as he tightened his grip once more and she could swear she heard something in her arm snap. but she had little time to care when her body was being thrown as though it was nothing more than rubbish. She tried to catch herself, but out of instinct held out her dominate arm for support. As luck would have it it was the injured on that only brought more suffering. Her muscled tenced and she held her arm against her chest willing the pain away with little to no sucess. but she would not scream or cry, she just didn't have the emotion of saddness within her.

Caspian ran to her, touching her injured arm gently and helping her to her feet by wrapping his good arm around her and pulling her up. "Are you alright?" he asked, looking at her arm. He wanted to kill the changeling. How dare he hurt Susan like this? But nothing could be done. Caspian grabbed this sack of ice that he had been given for his arm and gave it to her. He didn't think that her arm was broken, but he would rather that she had it for the ride to wherever she was going. Caspian could get another ice sack from the kitchen. He put it over her arm softly and glared at Cotnar. He didn't want to say anything, for fear he take Susan by the arm again.

"I'll be alright," She told him but she took the ice just in case. Her first thought was to lean against him, but seeing Lamont her mind changed knowing only bad would come from it. Instead she just sat with her knees tucked under her and cradeling her arm. "I'm sure it'll be gone by morning."

"I hope so." Caspian said. He patted her shoulder and reluctantly backed away, only because his cousin was here now, and he didn't want any harm to come to her later on. Everything Caspian did when infront of his cousin was to prevent Susan's harm as much as he could.

Lamont had picked himself easily when the beast shook him off and leaned against the wall knowing better than to interfere. The sound of the crumbleing wall was a sound he took pleasure in as he waited. When his wife was brought to him he smiled reading the expression of sheer happiness on her face. At least she's in a good mood for later, he thought. When Caspian came the boy's response was an expected one from the eyes of one who knew him well. He walked to the two of them and kicked the boy hard in the ribs and pulled her to his side holding her waist close to his. "Did you miss me?" He said in a voice that almost teased her. To add to his own game he pulled her head to lie against his chest and he stroked her hair, "It's alright, I won't let him take you again."

Fury built inside her as he kicked Caspian. Everything in her told her to lash out with everything she had, weak and injured or not, just like she had done to the changeling. After all, it had driven him away if only for a few hours. But she couldn't, it would go against whatever part of her was going with him and she fought to excuse him. To make matters worse he held her and her whole being wanted to scream. The last time her waist had been that close to his was on the dark iles, a memory she did not want repeated. She could feel her anger and her desire to kill building, but again the happiness pushed it away though it struggled to. The anger sprang back again as he insulted Caspian, but after long moments of silence she did manage to force her emotions into line again. But, for better or worse, she didn't say anything.

Caspian grunted as he fell to the floor again, scrambling to his feet. He watched with new pain in his eyes as the Devil held Caspian's wife so close to him. His Cuddle-Bug. His fist curled tightly and his jaw clenched, but he said nothing. When Susan was in Lamont's hands, danger was everywhere. "Until next time." he repeated, looking at her sadly. She was, by far, stronger than Caspian could ever be. It was kind of backwards, but it was fine. The King watched them, with eyes so wide, just waiting. Waiting-- waiting. He didn't know what for, though.

He smiled at the silence, it was yet another sign of his victory. He had accomplished in bringing fear into both of their hearts enough that they do not speak a word in his presence. As the thought repeated itself he laughed for a moment and then celebrated his victory with a kiss stolen from his bride. "I think," He said looking to Caspian knowing the answer already, "that you want this to end? You do know there is a way for you to avoid all of this."

When he kissed her body twitched out of instict rather than will, but when it was over she did not dare try to steal it back. But when he spoke his question was directed to Caspian. Her place now was to watch and listen and maybe interviene if the time came.

Caspian wanted so badly to say yes. To finally give in. To free his wife and let Lamont take the throne. But no, a wise man sees past the Devil's lies. It wouldn't end. Narnia and Telmar would be in ruins. They would be fighting against each other again, unwillingly. Evil would come over the entire World, just to be the fantasy land of a teenage boy. People would die in the streets. Women and children would be killed. Caspian would not let that happen. He looked to Susan first, expressing to her in one emotion on his face that he would have given anything to free her. But a good King puts himself after his country. "I cannot, will not." he said. And besides, Caspian would rescue his wife. One way or another. And if he let Lamont take power, what kind of world would that leave for the next generation? A bloody mess of death and destruction, that's what. Sure, Caspian and Susan and Glennstorm and Reepicheep and Peter and Edmund and everyone else would die, one day. They would go to Aslan's country. But back here, people would be suffering. Innocent people -Narnian and Telmarine people -would be suffering.

"You don't even know what I've asked of you," He smiled knowing his assumption was probably right. "Very well then. Stay a while then, cousin, I'm sure you wouldn't mind." A small smile formed across his lips as plots and plans began to pile over eachother. Praise the demon lord for this power.
