"Maybe not so soon." She turned her body so her back was against his chest and held his hands so his arms crossed over her shoulders. "I suppose we could stay a while longer, until he comes and find us. The monster is tricky, he se where we are sooner or later. Only by force will they take me, no matter what my mind is trying to make me do."

"Alright." Caspian said as she wrapped his arms around herself. He rested his head on top of hers and closed his eyes. She would always be his Susan, no matter where she went, what she did, or how many miles of land and sea stood between them. She would always be with him.

He roared as the boy ran with the girl. How dare he consider defying him. He shook his fur clean of the boy who rode him and pounced after him only to lose him in the great labyrinth of halls that was his home. Becoming a hound for the second time that day he followed the flowery scent that had bleed onto the child he perused earlier finding it to, once more, end in a wall. How many secrets were in this castle? He thought briefly wondering how many secrets they had kept from him even as their trusted father. Shaking his head he became the dinosaur once more and charged throwing debris and rubble over the lovers. He wondered again how many more walls he would have to destroy before the castle imploded, but he didn't care. He stared at Caspian, his eyes locked on his, as he waited for the boy to make a move.

Susan couldn't help but screamed at the monster's invasion that tossed bits of stone as though he was a child throwing his toys. She covered her head, luckily, as one of the pieces hit her defenceive arm with enough force to knock her over. She hated when her peaceful times were cut short as they always seemed to be. "It looks like I am to go now," She whispered standing and rubbing her arm where she knew a bruise would form.

Caspian clung tight to her, bowing his head over hers and trying to shield his wife as best he could. He stood as she did and inspected her arm. The man kissed it softly, like a father does when his child falls down and scrapes itself. "I guess so." he said, and held her tightly one last time. "I'll miss you." Caspian told her. "But we'll see each other again. I love you." after he said this he only held her tighter, not wanting to let her go.

"Enough of this running away," The dinosaur growled, "Either face what you've done or die. You know your options." Without waiting for an answer he transformed again and the powerful centaur gripped the queen's arm tightly and dragged her back through the hole. He didn't care if he was hurting her injury or not, he didn't care. The loss with both the griffin and the fire spirit had left him in a rage. Any injury he could cause he would gladly inflict. Part of him wanted Caspian to call to him, to tell him not to hurt her, just so he could have the slightest excuse to strike.

Susan half nodded before she had enough time to avoid the monster's grip. A scream built in her chest but she pushed it down after a while. "Let me go!" She almost screamed to the beast, "I'm comming, you don't have to drag me!" Out of instinct she dug her heels into the stone of the floor, trying to resist him just until she was relieced and then she would walk freely beside him.

Caspian leapt for her, crashing face first into the ground as he missed. He stood up, and knew that running after her would be only her suffering. "I love you." he repeated, watching her go from where he stood. The King followed them, his advance neither threatening nor dangerous. He knew that Susan was smart. She would know what she was doing. Caspian followed them up to the Medical Chambers, where they would leave again from the window. "Until next time." he said, refusing to say goodbye to his lover. Goodbye was forever. Forever would not be their doom, would not be their fate. Caspian and Susan would see each other again.

"And I will always love you." She told him looking back one last time. Though she could not understand it most of her sadness had left her. The only negetive emotion that touched her mind was that of the searing pain that tore through her arm. Aside from that happiness, hope, and laughter could be seen in her eyes as she smiled back to her husband. What was she thinking?

Caspian looked at her, confused. What was she so happy about? But he didn't want her to remember him in confusion. Only in happiness. So he smiled back, though pain was lying within his beating heart, stabbing it hard as it pulsed to keep him alive. "I love you more." he said the line that she so often told him.

Her smile only widened as he spoke and she almost laughed. Now you see truth, The voice told her, but she did not understand. "Word-stealer," She teased as she stopped resisting the beast and simply walked beside him. It wasn't freedom to walk and his grip did not lessen, but it still felt better not to agravate her arm when it was more than clear he wasn't going to realase her any time soon. "Only I'm allowed to say that. Take the words and give them back."

Caspian forced a warm laugh, trying to be as happy as she. "Alright." he said. "I love you more. They're your words now." Caspian trotted up to walk beside her and stole a kiss from her lips, before he was forced to drop back to walk behind the two of them again. "But I can steal kisses and not give them back." he teased.

"But you didn't do it right." She told him with the teasing tone still in her voice. "You just said they are mine now, you need to give them back." She looked from the centaur to her lover and then back to the beast almost afraid of what he might do or say, but her strange emotions kept her fear from rising up enough to do anything about it.

"And how do you expect me to do that?" he asked, sneaking a little closer to them again. Caspian kept a safe distance, but it grew shorter and shorter between them as they walked. He had half the mind to steal a sword from a passing soldier and run it through the centaur's ribs, but he knew that that wouldn't be wise. The creature had a hold of his wife, and he didn't want anything to happen to her.

"Simple," She stopped her walking and the centaur continued to pull as she took hold of the back of Caspian's neck. She pressed her lips to his and, guided only by an instinct and fire that burned inside her with untameable intensity, slipped her tounge between them. For a moment she stayed like this before pulling away. "now I have my words back, and the kiss you stole."
