Caspian stood and hugged his wife, happy to have her smiling again. "How's the little one?" asked the King, looking down at her belly when it lightly bumped him when he had hugged her. Caspian was smiling now, remembering what Susan looked like not moments ago trying to get off of her horse. "Did you show it how to ride a horse?" Caspian teased, laughing. "You did look funny." he told her, and kissed her forehead.

Melodia nodded at the girl. "This is true, but you'd think he'd compliment a lady instead of jumping in her. Even if she was a puddle at the time." Giggling, she titled her head to the side slightly. "If you like, I cause offer Caspian back his cloak. But I honestly don't have anything else to wear." Blinking a few more times, Melodia's eyes looked over Susan's body and smiled for a moment, easily catching on to what was going on. "Caspian!" she said, in a tone of mock outrage as she turned around to face him. "You never told me Susan was pregnant!" Laughing, she looked at Susan again and shook her head. "Whatever you do, do not let Caspian choose any of the childs maids or nannys. Caspian has an obsession with grey underwear and booties."

Susan smiled as he touched his son, "He's alright." she said, "I can see him move now, just like I told you before." But then she felt herself blush as he mentioned her riding. It was hard to mount and dismount with the baby inside, taking so much space and kicking her. To make matters worse, he body had lost most of it's strength in the months of her being denied physical labor. Now the task of pulling herself up onto a horse's back was a nightmare. "I did what I could," She forced herself to say. But then the girl spoke, Melodia she said her name was. "No keep it," She didn't want to see the girl naked again, espesialy not near her Caspian. But she couldn't help but have a small hint of regret in telling her to let it go. She remembered the cloak well. It sheilded her own body from the cold of the dark island after Lamont hurt her. But then she started talking about her child. Part of her was happy, she enjoyed being able to talk to people as though it truly was Caspian's son. "He will take part in the baby just as much as I will. We have not secrets, no lies, and no regrets. What we do we do together."

Caspian nodded. "And I do not have an obsesion with grey underwear and booties. My father did, but not me." the King said defensively. He shuddered at the thought that one of those baby pictures might still be lying around the attic somewhere. At least they were there, where no one could see them. "Do you want some help getting up there?" Caspian asked, pointing to the horse and laughing. The animal looked at them and tilted its head, confused. This beast wasn't completely dumb like the others, and had at least some sense of what was going on.

"No, I don't see a reason to leave just yet." She still didn't want him to be alone with her. Ifa anything she wanted to watch her, see how she acted around her husband. "I can stay here for a while longer. You came to pray to Aslan, like you said, right?"

"Yes, I prayed already." Caspian said. He had been wanting to go back to the castle and get another cloak. Now that he had been frozen and rained upon, he was cold. "Did you want to pray?" The King asked, looking across the field at the stone table. It looked peaceful today, but he could only imagine what it must have looked like the night the Lion was murdured. He shuddered. Caspian was thankful that Aslan had come back, because if he hadn't, all of Narnia would be falling apart worse than it was.

She nodded and took his hand, leading him back to the table. "It couldn't hurt to prey more." She said, "My dreams have been getting worse and I've been hoping Aslan could help me by my comming here with you." When she reached the table she knelt with one hand on her stomach.

Caspian also knelt by the table, his hand in her's. He bowed his head and prayed again. She was right. There was no harm in praying. Even if you had just finished, it never hurt to pray some more. His other hand he placed on top of the table, the cold stone meeting his fingertips. How had Aslan felt, lying here on this table? The King prayed, his thoughts silent in his mind.
