Mel turned around, bringing up her hands and laughing as she got splattered with the dirt. Naturally, it didn't disturb her. Grinning, she raised her hands toward the clouds that were still somewhat darker. "You forget, Caspian..." she shouted, thunder and lightening beginning to roll overhead. "...but I can make it rain!" As she shouted this, it did begin to rain, hard. This was definitely an advantage she had. Since it was raining, she could easily slip out of the cloak and blend in with the water. This would allow her to sneak up behind him. After all, she could see he was in the tree. Turning into pure water, she slipped in among the rain as Caspian's cloak slipped from her shoulders and fell to the ground. "I'm going to get you, Caspian!" she called, trying to keep back her laughter as she turned into a puddle of water and began flowing across the grass and toward the tree he was in.

"No you won't!" Caspian said, running as fast as he could up the hill. He threw rocks at the puddle, but they would only splash and land in the grass. He stooped down and picked up another dirt clog, tossing it at her. "Dirty, stinky Mel!" he taunted childishly before running off again. How funny it must have been to see a King play chase with a puddle. Lucky for him, no one was around. He picked up a stick and turned, running back on top of the water puddle and jumping in it, water splashing his clothes. The laundry maids were going to be upset with him, just like old times.

Melodia had never liked being called dirty or stinky when she was younger, and she still didn't like it. Thankfully when she was entirely water there wasn't anything that could truly harm her except a mop or a sponge. Grinning, she easily took the blows that Caspian dealt her as she chased after him in her puddle form. Unfortunately for Caspian, Melodia had learned so new tricks since the days when she used to play with Caspian. Giggling, she seized her change when he chose to try to make a splash in her. Sure there was a splash, but then the puddle that was Melodia began to twist and entwine itself around Caspian's legs, turning to ice. Though the water didn't just stop at binding the man's legs, oh no, it kept going. The water that used to be the puddle extended and stretched, slipping under Caspian's shirt and sliding up the mans chest. Laughing, Melodia began to tickle Caspian merciessly as she slid over his chest, though when she slipped partially out of the neck of Caspian's shirt, he extended herself so she was able to look at Caspian, allowing her full face to form before Caspian's own.
"Nice underwear, glad to see your nanny still picks out your clothing!" Sticking her tongue out at Caspian, she threw back her head and laughed before looking at him seriously. "You've definitely grown a lot since the times I used to spy on you when you took a bath and thought you were alone. A lot of you has matured. Though you're still the same clumbsy, fun loving Caspian.."

Caspian laughed uncontrollably. He was a very ticklish King. "Stop it!" he chuckled. "Please! Stop it! That's freezing cold!" he tried to move or hop away, but the ice bound him to the ground. He craned his neck back and then flung his head forward, bashing it against her's. "You stay away from my underwear! Mel, I swear to God, let me out of this thing!" he was still laughing hard. "Stop it, now!" he begged. "Please!" There was nothing that he could do now. "Come on! You'll wreck my sword and bootknives. Please stop!" he pleaded, still laughing.

Melodia continued to laugh, the way Caspian had smashed his head against hers barely hurt. Admittedly if she would have been in fully human form it would have hurt a lot. But at the moment, it only hurt a little. "It seems your maids still haven't taught you not to hit a girl..." she grinned, her grin being one of mischeviousness. Slipping down into Caspian's clothes again, Melodia did unfreeze Caspian's feet, but she kept a firm hold on him. Materializing behind him, she grabbed a firm hold on Caspian's undergarments and have them a severely hard and strong upward tug. "Ever hear of a wedgie, Caspian?!" she giggled, speaking into his ear. "Because you just stumbled into Wedgieville!"

"Hey!" Caspian said, grabbing his underwear. "That's not fair!" The King squirmed from her grasp, fixing his pants. "I can't do anything to you, you're not even wearing clothes!" When he realized this he threw the cloak back to her. "It's not as bad as wool." he said. "And I think it's quite comfortable." He walked away a few steps, still fixing his pants. "That wasn't funny." he growled over his shoulder. But he knew that it was somewhat humorous.

Laughing still, Melodia caught Caspian's cloak and put it on again, a smile on her face. "That's not true, if I were in full human form you could easily hurt me. Possibly even kill me. But then again, being in fully human form is when a Water Nymph is at her weakest." Sticking out her tongue, she winked at Caspian. "Besides, seeing your face when you got the wedgie was classic. Someone should make a painting of it. Besides, you need to grow out of those gray underwear someday. They always look so gloomy. Everyone already knows you like to.." she raised her hands and made quotes in the air " 'get happy' when your in the bath. Even some of the maids say so. They sure do love to gossip..." Giggling more, she walked toward Caspain. "The next time you decide to hit a girl, you may want to think about what that girl may be and what she can do. By the looks on your face a wedgie is not something you want repeated...Am I right?"

Caspian laughed at her. "That's not true." he said matter-of-factly. "And for you information," A big smile appeared on his face. "I'm happily married." He thought of Susan as he looked down at his ring. "Next time you decide to hit a guy, think about putting some clothes on. Believe me, it'll make him want to run away from you a whole lot less." he teased. "But I don't make no promises." he laughed now at his own joke. He found it to be extrememly funny. The he smelled the air and held his nose, as if he had smelled something awful. "And, you seriously might want to consider bathing by yourself, rather than with all your fish friends." he teased.

She struggled to dismount and she walked the rest of the way leaving her horse beside Caspian's. She had known he was here, he said he came here to pray to Aslan for safety and victory over Lamont. But what she found was very much diffrent. This girl, a water nymph, ran around him. He called her Mel, she called him clumsy, fun-loveing Caspian. She wore no clothes and moved around him, her liquid body flowing over his chest. She rubbed her fingers over his skin and he laughed. She pulled at his clothes and he only laughed. She waited a bit longer hoping for some explination, but could find none. "Caspian!" She half shouted letting her emotions control her words, "You tell me you come here to pray, pray for us and our children. I come here, to pray with you and I see some naked water nymph in your clothes? I know I have hid things from you, and I am ashamed of them, but nothing has ever been like this."

Melodia had been having a lot of fun, but when he commented on her smelling like fish she had a good reply for that. "Well, at least that is better than smelling like I just came from among the swines. Let me guess, you've been wrestling those four legged brothers of yours?" Laughing, she walked up beside him. That was when she heard the clopping of hooves and saw the woman who had arrived. Smiling at the woman, she waved. "Hi.." she said, walking over to the woman. "You must be the woman named Susan. You're very lucky, Caspian is a great catch. A bit childish, and somewhat nieve, but he has a good heart." Remembering what the woman had shouted at Caspian, she laughed. "Oh, you've made a mistake.." she said, still smiling at the woman.
Clearing her throat, she felt she ought to explain. "Caspian and I used to play together as children. I didn't know he was King and had no idea it was him who was the man at first. To tell the truth, I was nearly ready to fry him because of nieve arrogance. So don't be mad at him. He is still trying to convince me that humans wear clothes all the time. Though you're right, I am a Water Nymph. Good eye. Not even Caspian here..." she jerked her thumb over her shoulder, " could spot the obvious like you did....He just gave me his cloak so I wouldn't be walking around naked on land. Though it is a pleasure to meet you, Queen Susan. My grandmother has told me many great things about you and your siblings." Giving Susan a curtsey as best she could without revealing her naked body under the cloak, she smiled at the woman. "I am Melodia Aquania, often called Mel or even Melody."

"Susan!" he said happily, but when he heard the anger in her voice, his heart stopped. She had the completely wrong idea. "No, Su. Mel is just my friend. She left when I was eight, and today she disrupted my praying at the Stone Table." Caspian told her. "She wanted to know if she had known me from somewhere, and when I turned around I saw a naked woman. I covered my eyes and she got offended and started crying, and then I explained that humans have to wear clothes. She got angry and started complaining that I was cruel and rude, and that Prince Caspian would have never mistaken her for a human." now he laughed again. "You've got it all wrong, Su. This is just a lost friend." Caspian put an arm around his wife's shoulders. "Susan, this is Mel. Mel, this is Susan." he introduced them.

She brushed his arm away from her with anger still in her eyes, "Close enough that you let her in your clothes?" No one is supposed to get that close to you. Ever. I assumed you knew this when we married, but apparently not." As if her own thoughts were not bad enough the voice, eternaly filling her with sadness, came again He is leavin you, just as we knew he would. The child will come in a few weeks and he will cast you aside.

When she pushed his arm away, he felt hurt. Caspian crouched down on one knee and took both her hands in his, looking up into her face. "Susan, you know that I'd never lie to you." he said seriously. "You have to believe me when I tell you that I wasn't cheating on you. You know that I never would. Mel is just a friend, and I didn't give her permission to go into my clothes." But he wouldn't fail to defend his friend either. "It's not her fault. She's a Water Nymph. Clothes aren't part of their custom, and she didn't know." Caspian felt frustrated. He had been wrongly blamed for something that he would never even dream of doing. But Susan had every right to blame him. From a distance, and not having met Mel, Caspian could understand why she thought what she did. "Susan." he said her name again. "You know that I'm not lying to you. You know it." in his eyes were not lies and the will to decieve, but only love and a bit of pain. "I love you. You know that I'd never do something like that."

"That is all true.." Melodia said, nodding at the woman and repeating everything she had said before to the woman. "Though he did toss me his cloak so I would at least be somewhat decent and able to fit in with the humans. I honestly have never worn clothes before and usually I am in my fully liquaditic watery state. I doubt I'd even know what clothes would fit me. All I truly know is that I don't like the feeling of wool, it is too itchy. He wasn't cheating on you, that I can assure you. If he had been he wouldn't have told me he was married to you or showed me the ring he wore to prove it, and he did both. You have nothing to blame him for."

Susan smiled at his words. She could hear in his voice and see in his eyes the truth in him. She knew he couldn't do this to her, not now before their child was born. "You didn't hsve to go under his shirt," She said still slightly defensive about her husband. The nymph was young and free with herself. Should things go wrong, should, Alsan forbid, he fall out of love he would go to her. Her body was not like Susan's being much more flexible and able to take on diffrent apperences as she became solid, or at least that's what she thought. The girl could become anything that pleased him. They were just friends now, but maybe one day, when he's tired of her, his thoughts could change.
