Peace and a feeling of calm swelled over him when their lips touched. It felt good, like a warm blanket by the fire in a snow storm or cool rain in the summer. "I love you too." he said after she snuggled up next to him. He laughed warmly and teased her as he always did when she snuggled him like that, "Cuddle-bug." he would say. Then he let himself drift off to sleep.

Tired of waiting Lamont headed for the master himself. When he reached him and saw that he had become human, the only form Lamont had never seen on him, he stopped for a moment. "Too weak," He said, "Since when have you been too weak. You're always the one to push me." Without waiting for a response he pulled out his new sword and pointed it at the human's neck. "I want off this island and I want to get to where Lucy is. I have some things to settle with her."

"Since I have used my power so many times to serve you," Caspian the XI snapped, "Or would you prefer me to revoke my support and for you to fight alone." But he stopped when the sword was drawn. He hadn't expected the boy's rebellion to come so soon. "No," He said firmly ignoring the gleam of the perfect blade he had given the boy not to long ago. "I will not take you to Lucy. Maybe later, but not now. To ask me to leave at this moment is to ask me to lose the last of my strength in the middle of the ocean with nothing to do but drown. We will remain here until Susan and the others find Lucy far to the south of Cair Paravel where I told her to go. Whatever business you have with her can wait."

Syria sighed and smoothed out her dress. Lamont's not going to like this, she thought, biting on her lower lip and looking worried. Her head snapped up as Lamont entered the scence. Her hands snapped up to her mouth to cover it, keeping her mouth shut for a good reason. "My lord, would it be better just to listen to the master for once?" she asked and then winced, knowing she would get it from him later.

"NO!" the future king roared and knocked her aside with the butt of the hilt, "I want Lucy back in my hands before they can make port back in Narnia. I won't take any more of your lies beast. Now spread your winds and become the griffin you brought us in on." He didn't have time for pathetic nonsense from the master. For the first time today he had miscalculated. Susan had managed to pull herself together faster than he had hoped and they had a head-start on the journy back home. If they found Lucy before he got ahold of her once more then he had nothing else to dangle in front of their faces to tease and taunt them with. He had Lyric hidden away and Susan's new fear of him that he could lose. But Lucy was very important to him and his plans.

Syria jumped at his tone and fell, wincing as she felt the butt of the hilt. She stayed on the ground for a few minutes, stunned and dazed. She slowly rose, cluching the tree for support. "My lord, please," she begged him. "Don't do anything rash. You don't know what he is capable of." that would set off his temper big time. She breathed in, wincing as she rubbed her side. "Just...lay off Lucy for a while." she closed her mouth, knowing she had said to much and would get payed for it dearly and badly.

"Silence," He ordered as he took hold of her throat. It was not much different than Susan's, but that didn't matter as he squezzed the life force out of her. "I want to hear no more of this unless you want to share the princesses suffering."

Syria gasped as she felt his hands on her throat. She scrambled her nails across his arms, begging him to let her go. "Y-you k-know h-how bad it is to k-keep m-my m-mouth s-s-shut," she managed to get out, still running her nails on his arms and now kicking.

"You'd best learn," he told her and threw her aside. Why hadn't he used Lyric as the distraction to keep Caspian and the others away while he had his fun with Susan? This girl was useless, weak, and constantly consumed by fear. The fear he hadn't minded so much at first, it had helped him beat her into submission long ago, but the others were making her appear more like something holding him back rather than an actual contributor to the group. "Know this now changeling, I have others I can depend on, other followers, that just might be more powerful than you. keep this up and I'll feed you to them like a dog."

She whimpered as she was thrown to the ground. Syria closed her eyes as she let the tears fall. Her shoulders were shaking with silent sobs as she crawled a few inches away from him. She raised her head to stare at him, this time keeping her mouth shut. But she couldn't as she forced the words out of her mouth. "Threats are meaniless unless you preform them," she clamped her mouth shut and looked horrified. "Uh...I-I mean...." she was only digging a more deeper hole for herself.

Lamont smiled evilly as he heard her. No one had ever asked for him to hurt them before. He honestly couldn't tell if she was just stupid or was on the changeling's side in staying behind for a bit longer. "Very well, if you insist." He took hold up her throat once more but with a more powerful grip this time. The lean muscles in his arms bulged as he lifted her above him and pushed her frail body against a tree just as he had done with Susan, only much harsher. He would have to thank Caspian for this strength later, he could never have done any of this without him.

Syria looked up at him in fear as he smiled evily. Oh dear god what was he going to do? she asked herself with a whimper. She yelped as her throat was in his grasp again, this time harder than before. "I-I didn't mean do it!" she managed to get out as she kicked and struggled. She was begging him to stop. She managed to cry out in pain as she felt her back slamming into a tree. Her struggles became weaker. "N-no!" she managed to gasp as tears flowed down her face. "P-please. I-I'll do anything!" I just don't want to die, she thought, once again running her nails through his arm.

His smile broadened as he heard her trying to scream and his arm began to barely bleed due to her struggles. "Oh, you won't die," He told her, his only comforting words, "Susan did not die. But just like her after tonight you will no longer be a virgin."

Syria was fully crying now. "N-no p-please d-don't," she was shaking with fear as she refused to meet his eyes. She knew that nothing would stop him and that pleading was useless. Still she could only hope. She slowly raised her head to stare at him with a pleading look. "N-no." she whimpered slightly. "P-please,"

He laughed as she cried eventully standing and leaving her. He had enjoyment sending fear into her, but she was not worth his trouble, Susan was. She was a queen, this girl was a pesant; she held his cousin's heart in her hands, she held only her own. Her only purpose was to serve, but not to his enjoyment aside from fear. His true pleasure came from being with Susan. He would see to it that she was his. "Lucky wrench," He told her, "You are undeserving of my mercy."
