Peter was a little taken back as he was thrown to the ground. He flinched as he sensed, no felt the fire that was going through him. He looked up at the pair, eyes turning back to their normal sky blue. He looked confused for a moment, then it dawned on him. "Oh dear god," he moaned, shaking his head. He looked at Len. "Ease up will ya? Its just me." Hearing Lucy's and Lyric's names had hit a nerve and he was back to himself now. For the time being that is. Peter stared, open mouthed at Caspian. He closed it and shook his head. "You know, Caspian, you could do with a bit more sun."

Susan walked among the lifeless formes of what were once dancing trees. Every few moments she would touch the bark of won of the trees hoping she could feel the life blood coursing through them as she sometimes did when they were alive. but there was nothing to feel beneath the bark.
Thick clouds formed quickly over head, as if summoned by some unknown force. Lightning struck and one of the trees burst into flame as sparks flew from its trunk. Susan ducked to avoid the flames, but they spread instantly engulfing the forest as though it had not been rained on in years. The fire spread and covered her body, but as she curled ontl the groung as tightly as she could she did not burn.
At last the roar of the wildfire dissapeared and she looked around for the first time. The forest was gone, the sky was gone, the world around her was gone, all that remained was darkness. There was no land to stand on, no light to see by, and when she screamed for Caspian there was no air to carry her voice or even supply her lungs. At first she thought she was going to die in this place, alone and afraid, but something stopped her. /the cry of a falcon could be heard overhead. She did not know or understand why she heard it and not her own voice. but it called and then-
Susan sat up and instintivly covered herself with the blanket as she heard the sound of crashing boddies. In an instant she reached over to grab her bow and one of her arrows and drew it. She was near enough to peirce even the finest of dwarfish armor, but then again, could she fire at her own brother?

Caspian let him up, seeing as the dark magic was gone from his friends eyes. The King walked over to stand beside Susan, whom was still lying on the bed. He put an arm around her shoulders and glared at Peter. "What the hell was that?" he asked. "Why did you do that?" he asked, his voice vibrating with rage. Caspian kissed the top of Susan's head, glad to know that she was still safe. He touched her hand that held the bow and moved it to the side so that it wouldn't harm the other King that was laying on the floor.

Len released her grip on Peter and fell to the floor with exhaustion. She hadn't used that much magic at one time but she should get used to it. She looked around the room. "So this is whats been going on. So much for the duel" She said with a sigh. Now what? She didn't feel like she could get up and her head throbbed.

Peter glowered at Caspian, his own temper bubbling past boiling point again. "What the hell do you mean Caspian?" he snapped at him. He slowly rose, still glaring at him through narrowed eyes. "I can't even remember what I did. I told that before!" Caspian was starting to make Peter feel like a child. He rubbed his temples, starting to get a slight headache. He looked at Susan and saw Caspian moving the bow and arrows. Pain filled his eyes as he turned away. They can be around each other, he thought grudgenly. They don't have to worry about their every move being watched. In a way he was jealous of his sister's relationship with Caspian but he didn't let it show. It wasn't as if Lyric choose to be with Lamont, a voice argued. She was forced to. Oh shut up, he snapped at it, now leaning against the wall with a scowl on his face.

Susan let down her arrows as Caspain pushed them away, but her gaurd never fell. She watched Peter so closly that she may have well been watchin him more intently than the falcon in her dreams. Every night she spent when he was near the falcon would come and haunt her. She was almost sure the bird had some tie to her brother and Lamont, but she had never known. But for now she would just watch her brother and say nothing, waiting for some sign of the birds purpose. She didnt know what to do or say or think. She let her head hang, exausted from the sleepless nights thanks to the falcon.
"Can't we just rest," She sighed, "Aslan knows what we'll find at Dark Isle."

Caspian nodded. "You two," he said, pointing to Peter and Len. "Out. -Now. I don't want anymore fights or duels between either of you, and if you do decide to bicker, don't bring it to us." And with that he pushed them both out the doorway, knowing full well that one of them might get angry and come barging back in again. The King sat down on the bed and let his head fall into his hands. He was tired, but couldn't sleep now. He was stressed and angry, and all he could do was stare at the wooden floor beneath his bare feet. A great sigh came from his lungs, more like a groan that you might hear from a dying buck or stallion when it's been shot.

Len walked out then turned to Peter. "We have to figure out what to do with you. We can't have that happen every time" She said. Things were just going to get worse. They had to figure something else out, something that might work. If that was even possible. She walked back to the deck telling the sailors that everything was fine before going to the railing. She leaned over it slightly letting the water splash her face.

Peter turned to Caspian angrily, about to retort when the door was slammed in his face. Growling in his colorful language under his breath, Peter turned and stormed back to the deck. He looked at Len. "Its happening at random points during the day though. I don't know when it occurs...it just happens." he frowned, looking down at the water.

Susan focused to push out every thought of the bird. There had to be some way to stop Lamont from controling her brother adn his methods of attack. Why would he force Peter to fight with a flaming sword on a wooden ship. The chanches of them not making it out of there without bursting into flames was just to slim. If the ship did burn and did sink wouldn't that ruin the trap set for them. This boy eas far to tricky for his age. That, or he's just unskilled in his planing. Whatever the case it didn't matterm he still needed to be stopped, maybe even killed.
"Caspian, lay down," She said, "at least try to relax if you can't sleep."

"I can't." he said, and got up and began to pace around. "That was too close. Far too close. If I wasn't in here Pete would have killed you and never known it." Caspian looked at her, tears in his eyes. "I don't want to lose you." said the man. "What if it happens again? What if he attacks you and I'm not there? What if..." then his tears fell. He couldn't bare to finish any more 'what if' questions. Caspian swiped at his eyes. It was a shame to cry infront of a woman. And besides, he didn't want to trouble her anymore. "What am I supposed to do?" he asked.

Len smiled as the water cooled her skin. She sat with her back on the rail as she looked over the cut that Peters blade made on her right arm. It wasn't deep so she ignored it. "What makes you come out of the...possession?" She asked. She was trying to figure out how to help but she needed more information.

Peter frowned at her. "I don't know," he said slowly. "I think whenever he's done then he lets go of me for the day. Thats what I'm thinking. But it might be because he has a tight hold on me, and whenever I get emotional, just thinking about my family or Lyric....he lets his grip go."

"No," She told him as he started to cry, "No more talk like this." she wrapped her arms around his bare shoulders and pulled him down onto the bed before he could object. She pressed her lips to his to silence any complaints or objections he may have. Even when she pulled away she still kept a finger against his mouth. "Nothing more for either of us but sleep. If Peter or Lamont comes then we'll fight like we always have. Besides, whever Peter is taken over he never realy gets far."

"If nobody stopped him he would." Caspian said, but then when she kissed him he stopped. He kissed his lover back on the neck. "I love you, and goodnight." he said to her. Caspian would let her sleep, and at let her think that he was sleeping too. But behind his eyes he was still thinking of all the dangers that threatend them. Lamont, Peter, that thing that his cousin had as a pet or something, the Dark Ilse, the long voyage... the list ran on for what seemed to be miles upon miles. Eventually, the King worried himself to sleep. Dark thoughts and nightmares pranced through his mind, and occaisionally a fearful murmer could be heard from his throat.
