Peter walked through the halls with his hands in his pockets, lost in thought. He had many things to think about. But chief in his thoughts was Lyric. How could he(how could anyone for that matter) fall in love during these times? Even when their younger sister was taken? at this the high king only moaned. It was clear that he was not sleeping. Peter also had been skiping meals and wandering into the forest, hoping that(by a small chance) Lucy would just appear. But so far their searches turned nothing up. He opened the door. "Caspian?" he asked as he slipped in. "I have to talk to you about something..." he gripped his sword, evil flickered through his eyes.

The King had been reading a book, trying unsuccessfully to take his mind off of the last encounter with Lamont. The bargin that his cousin offered burned furiously into his skull. That little devil wanted Susan for Lucy, and there was no way that the King would let Susan leave. But still, Susan had even suggested that she would go to prevent the creature from attacking Caspian or anyone else. That was right before the first time that they had seen Lamont. He sighed and turned around. "Hey Peter." he said, closing the book and placing it back on the shelf. "Sure. What do you want to talk about?" he asked.

Peter moved ever so closer, his right hand on his sword hilt. He slowly slid it out of his sheath and pointed it at Caspian. The high king was filled with sudden anger. "Make....it...stop..." he muttered weakly. He leaped at Caspian, slashing the sword. his mind was screaming at him to stop. Something, or someone, was controlling his mind and his every movement.

The sword broke the King's skin hard, making him bleed harshly. He kicked Peter off of him and scrambled up to get his shield. "What are you doing?!" He yelled. "Put the sword down!"

Peter was thrown to the ground. He groaned as he slowly stood. "And what are you doing...." his voice trailed off as he saw the other king bleeding. He blinked in confusion as the evil flicker in his eyes seemed to die out. "Caspian!" he croaked. "This things been happening lately! I would do things without knowing it!" the high king took a deep breath.

"Apparently." The King grunted, not dropping his shield, and grasping his bloody shirt. He walked over to help Peter up.

Peter raised an eyebrow as he got to his feet. "I thought you might be use to it all the time," he said scarcastially. "Actually thats why I wanted to talk to you about," he took a piece of cloth from his pocket and wrapped it around the wound. "I was wandering if you have dealt with this before and if it could be stopped. And I rather not want Susan to know either," he added with a shake of his head.

"Being controlled by anger?" he questioned, making sure he had understood right. "Yeah, of course I have. It happend the last time I saw Lamont." So much for keeping that off my mind. he thought, and shrugged. "When I see him I want to rip his throat out. He causes pain to everyone, and the way he acts around Susan..." His voice grew bitter and trailed off as if he couldn't finish the sentence. The King shook his head and continued, "But I've never attacked any of my friends, nor had the urge to. And I've never not been able to remember anything like what just happend to you." he said.

Peter frowned. "Well not quite like it. Feels more like magic seeping in though. And I believe its dark magic. Well thats what it feels like though." he then stiffened as he remembered the way Lamont was acting to his sister. "I still can't believe you two are related Caspian. The man's a.." Peter had a million things to say about him, but he decided to keep that to himself. "About the controlling? Can it be stopped? I want it before I do something serious. I almost hurt Lyric the other day," he added with a sigh.

"I don't know. But I'll do some research on it. In the mean time, you might want to speak with the dwarves. They were once part of the White Witch's millitary. They might know something about Dark Magic." he suggested. "Who's Lyric?" asked the King when he heard a name he didn't recognize.

At this Peter frowned. "True but I think the witch was hiding some magic from them though. Magic I think she didn't want them to know about," this was a great day indeed! Now I have to go dwarf hunting, he thought with a shake of his head. Is there anything I can't do? Peter smiled at his question. "Just someone that I..fallen in love,"

"But maybe they know about the kind of magic that you're dealing with." he said. "Congradulations!" Caspian said and slapped Peter on the shoulder when he told him about Lyric. For some reason his gash from the sword wasn't bothering him, but he knew to take it easy because it would hurt later. "What's she like?" he asked.

"Well they better," Peter said worriedly. "I don't want this to get out of hand," the high king laughed as he felt the slap. He grinned and pulled Caspian into a headlock." Don't do that again," he joked and released him. "She's...wonderful," he said while staring into space. "The most amazing..." he decided to stop there and turned red, knowing he was rambling. Although something did tell him to watch out. "Caspian, I thinkyour lovely Lamont threatened her," with that he told him about what had happened.

Caspian nodded an understanding. Peter must have felt the same way from Lyric that Caspian did for Susan. The King felt his jaw clench as Peter told him what had occured at Cair Paravel. Lamont just gave Caspian more and more reasons to kill him. "The next time anyone see's that kid we should have him locked up and gagged." he suggested calmly, though his face shown hatred.

Peter actually took a step back. the expression on Caspian's face was not good at all. "Yeah well, maybe next time you should bring a few guards with you. No doubt Lamont would kill you in a few hits. But I won't take chances either. Plus I don't Susan at my back yelling questions about me," he muttered that last part under his breath. He actually feared his sister. And with good reason. "Do you think he has planted spies in here?" he inquired.
