Character Model: Skandar Keynes
Species: Human
Nicknames: Ed
Appearance: Edmund stands at about five foot six, and is still growing because of his younger age. His eyes are a deep brown color with flecks of hazel mixed within, and they seem to be able to hold all of his emotions at once. They do give him away at times, and he isn't too fond of that, but he lives with it. His skin is a paler shade, but because of his time spent outside more recently, he is getting darker and tanner. He isn't as fine featured as his brother, but he isn't bad looking either. As he is maturing, his jaw has sharpened, and he looks a bit more capable of defending Narnia and the people and creature within it. His hair is always messy no matter what he tries to do to it, and it's a deep brown hue, almost black. You could call it black if you really wanted to. He keeps it slightly shorter than Peter's, but that's only to keep it out of his eyes so he can see better when he's fighting, or really doing anything.
He weighs in at a measly one hundred and thirty pounds, but it's all muscle and no fat. He tries to gain weight, but it's impossible for him to keep it on becuase of all the activity he takes a part in. He does have scars and scratches on him from past battles, but they don't really call too much attention to themselves. He wears whatever is comfortable to him at the time he gets dressed in the morning, and that's usually a black pair of pants and the many colored tunics he has. His armor is a simple black color, and covers his torso, his arms, his wrists, and his thighs and shins. It's traced with silver markings, and there's a lion on the chest piece, symbolizing his hope and his strength in the time of Lucy's disappearance. The other armor he has is the set that he wears most often. He wears chain mail beneath the crimson tunic that also bears a golden lion. He has shoulder plates that are silver in color, and he has leg protection and arm as well. He wears that most often because it is more comfortable. He has a pair of black boots that rise to about his knee, and he'll seldom wear a cape if he has to. He just wears whatever is comfortable to him.
Edmund
Personality: Edmund can be a bit of a mystery at times. Sometimes he stays so quiet that many people forget that he is even there. But afte his mistake made with the White Witch, he has been a lot better. He isn't moody or hard to deal with anymore. He's outgoing and even joking at times, and he likes to have a good time, although he knows when he has to be serious. He likes having a good time with his siblings, and even King Caspian, but more often than not he can be found traveling by himself, especially after Lucy's disappearance. He doesn't blame anyone for that because that isn't how he is, but he does miss her a lot. He created a stronger bond with her ever since their second return to Narnia, and it's slowly breaking him down not to know what's happened to her or anything like that. He misses her with all of his heart, and he carries his pain in a gentle silence, not wanting anyone else to know that he is in fact hurting. It does bother him that she's gone, but he's trying not to let it affect him too much because he wants to appear as if he's strong enough to handle this. He hates looking weak, and will do anything to keep himself looking strong.
Ed is also a very determined and defiant person. He doesn't like taking no for an answer, and sometimes does do things that aren't agreed upon by the people he knows. He tries to do the right thing and make good decisions, but sometimes it's hard for him. He tries to get along with everyone, but there are a few that don't like him, and he usually doesn't make the situation better. He's sarcastic, yet he knows his limits. He's gentle, and recently has become a good listener, for he doesn't speak much as of late. His siblings probably do notice that he is more quiet than normal, but he won't talk to them about what's bothering him because he doesn't like to open up. But he's loyal and proud, as well as strong and an able fighter. He doesn't like being controlled, and he doesn't like restrictions placed upon him because he's younger. He likes to excel, and he'll enjoy a good friendly duel once in a while to keep his skills strong.

Character Background: Edmund used to be a very negative person when he first had to move away from home and everything that was near and familiar to him. He was never comfortable with his father going away to war, and that much was obvious, for he started taking it out on his siblings. He was cold and rude, especially to Lucy, and things didn't improve too much even after they moved away from home. As they grew accustomed to their new life, Edmund's behavior didn't change. When Lucy discovered the wardrobe that led to Narnia once during hide and seek, Edmund was the first to dismiss the idea completely. He was mean and harsh when it came down to it all, but it turned out that he would be the second Pevensie child to go through the wardrobe and into Narnia. That's when he met the White Witch, and things only got worse from there. She gives him Turkish Delight, which causes him to become addicted, and he promises to bring his siblings to her home, not realizing that it is her plan to kill all four of them so the prophecy will not be fulfilled. It was for his own selfish gain that he agreed to it all, but he returns home trying not to think of it.
He denies ever having been in Narnia because he doesn't want Lucy's store to appear truthful. But when he was talking to Peter later, he does let fly proof that he has in fact been to Narnia. All four of the Pevensie children travel through he wardrone to Narnia, and Edmund sneaks away to go to the White Witch's castle, thinking that he's going to be made into a Prince, and hopefully later, a King. But his opinion of the Witch changes dramatically when he witnesses her turning animals to stone because of their defiance and refusal to follow her orders. He realizes his mistake, especially after he sees the fox that had helped them earlier turned to stone as well. But his realization comes too late, and the Witch claims Edmund as her prisoner. The Witch hits Edmund for witholding information about Aslan and his army, and Edmund is chained and kept for the Witch to end his life. The Witch prepares to put him to death, as is her right and duty to do to traitors; she ties Edmund to a tree and draws her knife, but a rescue party sent by Aslan arrives, frees him and brings him to his siblings and the rest of Aslan's army. Edmund becomes fully reformed after a long conversation with Aslan. The next day, the Witch reiterates her claim to Edmund's life. She and Aslan work out an agreement that Aslan will die in Edmund's place, but unknown to her, the magical nature of this contract allows Aslan to be brought back to life.
While Aslan and Edmund's sisters race to free the cursed prisoners in the Witch's castle, Edmund consolidates his reformation by aligning himself with Peter's army in battle, where he plays a critical role in destroying the White Witch's most dangerous advantage, her wand, and is gravely wounded in the attempt. However, he is saved from death by the timely arrival of reinforcements led by Aslan, and by Lucy, who gives Edmund a dose of a magic cordial which can quickly heal any injury. Eventually Edmund Pevensie, completely reformed, becomes King Edmund the Just, co-ruler of Narnia with Queen Lucy, Queen Susan and High King Peter, and is knighted as Duke of Lantern Waste, Count of the Western March, and Knight of the Noble Order of the Table.
Together with his siblings he returns to England, where they all magically appear as children again.
Later, Edmund and his siblings are once again summoned to Narnia by Prince Caspian and his horn. He convinces Trumpkin the dwarf, that they are the Kings and Queens from the legend by defeating him in a sparring practice. He later helps Peter and Trumpkin defend Caspian against Nikabrik, the hag, and the were-wolf. And he is there to witness Peter's duel against Miraz.
He has also become more caring and protective of Lucy and is the first person to believe her when she sees Aslan, and he supports her against the disbelief of Trumpkin and her other siblings. Edmund and his siblings help Caspian regain the throne of Narnia, which is rightfully his. NowEdmund is trying to fight the grief he is feeling over the lss of his youngest sister Lucy, since he had a strong bond with her ever since that adventure.

Sample Post: Today was a lot quieter than what he was used to, and he had to admit that it was making him uneasy. He had woken especially early this morning, unable to sleep because of his nightmares. He had been dreaming a lot about what had happened to Lucy in her disappearance, and it was making him suffer more than he thought possible. Taking a deep breath, he exhaled softly and then got himself dressed in a pair of grey pants, and his button up long sleeved blue tunic. Under that was a white shirt, and he strapped his sword and his pack around his waist, ready to go forward and start his day. Running his hands through his messy black hair, he tried to make it look presentable but there was no way that that was happening. Shaking his head once more, he finally gave up and soon made his way out of his quarters and down the hallway of their home. He knew that his brother and sister were still sleeping, so he tried to remain as silent as possible. He continued down the hall and then down the flights of stairs that would lead him to the back of the home, which would lead to the stables, which would in turn lead to his horse. Finally making it outside, he took a deep breath of fresh air and sprinted towards the horses.
His stallion was still outside, for it had been very nice out last night, and he hadn't wanted to keep him in. His horse was still wild at heart, and Edmund had to be careful at times. Leaving him outside allowed him to get most of his energy out. When he had to leave him inside, he usually had a fun ride the next day. Walking towards the back pasture, he placed his fingers in his mouth and let out a long shrill whistle, followed by a shorter, lower note. He listened quietly for a few moments and then smiled as he heard the familiar hoofbeats of his stallion. His name was Alehan, and Edmund had had him since he was a foal, abandoned by his herd. Training him had been a challenge, but he found that their bond was stronger. The black andalusian friesian cross made himself visible over the hill, and Edmund climbed up onto the fence, holding his hand out as the six year old came over. Grinning quietly, he haltered him and led him into the barn, where he saddled him up and readied him for a ride. Once the horse was ready and comfortable, Edmund mounted up and took him through his paces. Once he was warmed up, the young man laced his fingers into his horse's mane and leaned forward. One whispered word was sent towards Alehan's ears, and the stallion took off in an instant, galloping with his heart and soul. Edmund's worries and cares were spread through the wind for this short time, and for once in a long while, he let a genuine smile light up his face. Maybe things would actually be alright. He could only hope, and remain strong for his sake, and Lucy's, as well as everyone else's.[/ul][/blockquote]
