"Son of a bitch!" Nadia growled in irritation as she wandered the dark forest around the mountian. She of course didn't know she was in THAT forest but she did know that it was 4:30 in the afternoon and the sun would be falling within minutes.

The winds were blowing hard, with just added to her irritation. Nadia was usually one to love winds-- but right now ti was blowing her scent around like the world was filling with the scent of the cotten candy smell in a carnival! Noelle sure as god knew she wasn't happy about this! Honestly, she was just asking to be killed, wasn't she? She couldn't even admit that she was lost!

Her dark brown curls blew into her face, and she could smell the cotten candy shampoo she washed her hair with. How the hell was she going to find shelter before the sun went down?

Suddenly Nadia's foot hit something, and she tripped over it-- a scream escaping through her pale lips. She gasped for air and moved her hand by her leg where the pain was, feeling hot tears fall down her cheeks. Her hand pressed aganist something sharp that was stabbed into her leg, and blood was beginning to seep through her dress. Honestly, could Nadia's day get ANY worse!?

She let out another cry as she tried to crawl away from her area, but the pain hurt so much, and it wouldn't let her move from the position she was in. It was apparent that there was a trap laied to make something fall then get stuck on this knife like object stuck in the ground so the bate wouldn't escape.

Joshua was sitting in a little cave he had found just outside the forest when he heard the scream. Josh made his way towards it careful of his step. He had noticed on his way through here, that traps were all over the place. Who would set up such things Josh would never know. If it wasn't for his phenix form Josh probably would of gotten stuck here too. Joshua made it through the dense part of the forest when he saw a shadow. That was most likely where the scream had come from. Josh made his way over to find a girl trapped in one of the traps. He saw the blood run from her anckle and he got a little wozy. He hated the site of blood and the smell reacked for his strong sense of smell. "Are you ok?" he asked as he bent down to examine the wound on her leg.

Nadia didn't want to make her first impression mean but honestly it was a bit obvious, "Does it look like I'm okay!!?" she yelled at him, merely under the influence of the pain. Her eyes glanced back at the man filling with sorry. She really didn't want to yell at him but seriously, her leg was bleeding and some needle thingy was stabbed into it... she sure as hell isn't okay. Nadia bit her lip and cluched her pale hands into the dirt, trying to think of something else to slightly ease the pain.

Joshua sighed people usually reacted like that when they were hurt. And the sad thing was he was used to it. Josh bent down beside the girl. he saw the needle and could take it out but he would tell the girl first. "Ok hold still i'll get it out." Josh said giving her his warmest smile. Josh placed his hand on the needle thing. He used his other hand to block his vision from the blood so he could concentrate. Josh easily pulled out the needle. Josh sighed that had been easier than he thought. "Ok your alright now. But my sugggestion is to get out of here as soon as possible. I can give you a lift if you want." He said looking back at her. He offered his hand to help her up.

nadia flinched slightly as the boy pulled the needle from her leg. Very shyly she looked at her leg then to the boy, her eyes filling with a hint of hope for herself, not to mention pure thanks. She sighed and nodded slightly to his offer.

Joshua sighed when he saw she was ok. The other good news was he hadn't fainted which was good. Joshua smiled when she excepted his offer. She might not think he was normal after this but at least he could help her. Joshua backed up slightly, he didn't want to hit anything with his wings. Then fire surrounded him but it didn't burn anything. Then a bigger form emerged from the flames, a phenix. About the size of a griffin if you didn't count the wing size. Joshua looked back at the girl. He nodded and crouched down so she could get on if she wanted to.
