Caspian smiled and kissed her, slipping his tongue between her lips as he gave her the words back, and the kiss grew stronger. He picked her up and held her as he often did, and when their kiss finally broke, beamed at her. "Maybe I should be stealing your words more often." he teased in a low voice. His accent was becoming more and more Spanish as they spoke. Because not very many people spoke like he did anymore, he had to practice sometimes just to keep it. Sometimes he almost sounded British from being around Susan and Peter and Edmund. Caspian cradled her like a little baby. "You are my greatest and dearest treasure." he told her. "You are my gift from Aslan."

"No," She told him, but still keeping the playfulness in her voice, "Stealing is bad no matter how it's done. But If you want I have extra space in my word-holder and you could be nice and give me words." Her mind was lost in the sound of his voice. Rarely did it come through strongly anymore and she missed it so very much. She wanted so badly to have someone that had his accenct just so he could keep talking the way he did now and never lose it. "You are my only, truest love. You are my gaurdian, lover, husband, and," She held his hand and put it over the child that still could not be seen, "father of my sons."

"This doesn't seem like such a bad thing." he smiled brightly, slipping his tongue between her lips again. "I get free kisses whenever I steal." Caspian chuckled. He watched her fondly as she spoke to him, his grin growing and baring his teeth with each happy word that left her mouth. "And daughters." he said. He was the father of her daughters too. Even if they were in the Heavenly Paradise of His Country, he was still there father. They recognized him as such, and so, Caspian concluded, must Aslan. One day, Caspian and Susan would have daughters of their own, too. He knew that they would. Someday. His thumb caressed her belly softly and he knelt to kiss it once before rising again to look at his wife. He needed to come up with a phrase of his own, one so that she could steal his words when she wanted. Caspian's hand slid slowly behind her back. "Lover mine, Lover mine." he said softly, "Your kisses are the sweetest wine. Your touch against me is the most divine. But it's your heart that I'm glad is mine."

Susan looked away at the mention of her daughters. She still loved them, but didn't like thinking of them regardeless of the fact that they were in paradise with Aslan. They wern't with her like they should be. Pushing the thought away she rested her head against him and closed her eyes savoring his words.

He put his arm around his wife and rubbed her arm in comfort. "Those are my words." he told her, his voice soft. Then he added a little playfulness, "Mine." he smiled at her. "And you are mine and Galen is mine and our son is mine and all of the rest of your future children are mine." he stuck his tongue out at her through his grin. Caspian kissed her cheek softly. "And I love you."

"I love you more," She said using her words. "and nothing you can do will change the fact that some things are mine, like the words."

"And somethings are mine, like you." he teased, tickling her ears. Caspian scooped her up. "Come on." he said. "I want to take you somewhere. Anywhere. Dinner, a play, dancing, a stroll through the woods, you name it." he just wanted to spend some time with her, now that they were both alive. The King smiled at her shyly, turning his head away bashfully, before looking back at her with full confidence and stealing a kiss from her cheek and laughing.

She looked up at him when he kissed her and returned it. "To our place." she told him, "We havent been there since Galen was born and I want our son to be there."

"Alright." Caspian agreed. It was the perfect idea. "But first, warmer clothes." he told her, setting Susan down on the bed for a moment and grabbing his winter cloak out of the closet along with hers, and wrapped her in the thick fur. "I don't want either of you getting cold." he beamed, slipping his own cloak on over his shoulders. He stuck a hat on her too, and some warm mittens and snow boots. He felt like a father dressing his child to go out and play in the snow, even though she was his wife and their child was still within her. Caspian touched her belly softly when he stood up again from tying the boots.

She wouldn't admit she felt strange with him dressing her, as if she couldn't do it herself. She took off the hat though, not liking it. But when he touched her she held his hand to it. "He's still too young to move." She told him, but she liked when he touched her so she didn't mind.

"I know." he said, smiling. "But he's still there." Caspian didn't care if his son moved yet or not. He would move eventually. And then he would be born and grow up and help Galen to rule Narnia and Telmar. His son would be a good person. He would be a good warrior. And he would be a better King than Caspian was. Caspian would make sure of it. He entangled his fingers with Susan's and began to walk down the hall with her. He bent his head down to her ear and whispered, "Thank you, Susan." he knew that she might not understand, but he would tell her if she asked.

Susan smiled back to him. He had been this way with Galen when she told him she would have a child, regardeless of his lineage. He had always been the first to care for the children, even if he was the first to know. Never had he backed away, never had he left her. He was a perfect father, anyone could see it. "What have I ever done?"

"Thank you for saving my life, and loving me." he told her. "And thank you for being my wife and the mother of my children. And thank you for being my friend." Caspian kissed the back of her neck softly before they began to walk down the stairs.

"you'll say that forever won't you?" He had said it so many times before she should have known he was going to.

"Forever." he said, opening the door for her. There were some things that he would always do forever. Like childishly bowing for her whenever they left the castle to go to their tree. And so he did, bowing until it looked like his nose might touch his toes. Caspian looked up at her and said, "After you, kind Lady." with his common smile on his face, his eyes bright and happy.
