She already knew Aslan was forgiving, it was why he never killed and he offered himself in edmund's stead. But to take life is to turn away from Aslan and when it is suiside there is no time to ask Aslan for forgiveness for by the time they could try they would already be dead and standing before the great lion to be judged. "It's still possible and without knowing for sure we can't just die hoping Aslan would stand on our side."

"But he said it would be so." Caspian said, standing to leave. There was no reason to stay here anymore. Susan could follow if she wanted. But he didn't want to argue anymore. Not here.

Susan stayed put wanting to fall into the snow. She remembered one of her teachers telling her that if if she put her face in the snow and kept it there for too long the water in her breath would freeze on her face and she would suffocate. For an instant the voice in her mind encouraged her to test it, but her heart and mind overpowered it. She still believed that taking life was against Aslan in every way, even if it was her own. But he's left you now and he's likely not to come back. He might. You've argued plenty, it's true, but he's never yelled at you like he did here, never broke and cried like he did, and you've never called him a Telmerine King. To compare him to the cousin who forced Galen into you is the worst of punishments you could have given. why would he, or anyone else for that matter, want to come back to you? She sat in the snow, the top layer of it melting and soaking her dress with freezing water that made her spine shiver. Maybe he'll understand something and come back to apologize. Maybe he won't think through everything and he would still come bac just to hold her and rup his child. Or maybe he realy was gone.

Caspian looked over his shoulder, but kept walking. He hadn't married a stupid wife. She wouldn't stay out here if she was truly freezing. Or so he thought, anyway. Tears were streaming from his eyes and landing in the snow, creating a second set of small tracks beside his footprints that one would have to look carefully to see. He made it to the castle and shut the door behind him, blocking out the cold air from the structure. The King walked up to his room. Once there, he paced back and forth quickly, still crying, his mind running over everything that had been said. His heart was literally hurting him, pounding so hard that he thought a knife was trying to cut open his chest from the inside. His breathing was staggering and he began to hyperventilate. He felt stupid. Ashamed. Hurt. Smothered. His legs felt weak, and he let himself collapse on the floor. He did nothing to catch himself. It wasn't worth it. He wasn't worth it. He wondered if Susan even cared.

He hadn't come back. She flinched as she heard the door close behind him and he was gone, probably never to come back. Why should he, after what had happened she hated herself too. Why did all this have to happen? Couldn't she just love Caspian and have his children without this hell? Now she couldn't even tell if he wanted her to come back She couldn't leave Narnia now, not for her childrens' sake. they needed their father and for them she would stay no matter what troubles came between them. Her body shuddered as the wind picked up. She looked the the sky silently begging that he would appear behind her with a blanket to wrap around her, but it never happened. Her head dropped as she forced her body to stand. Her body swayed not wanting to hold itself up as pain lanced through her frozen legs. She walked to keep feeling in them. But she didn't walk to the castle, she walked towards the woods where Annabell and the others headed off not to long ago. she half expected Lamont or Cotnar to jump from behind the bare trees but she didn't care. If they killer her here it wouldn't be her blood on her own hands and she could die an innocent death.

She wasn't coming. Pain tore through his heart, nearly ripping him to shreds. Why wouldn't she come and see him? It was her fault that he was in this mess. If she hadn't have decided to be with Lamont, he wouldn't have had to come saving her. If she hadn't cheated on him, she wouldn't have died. If she would have stayed with him, they could be happy right now. No. Caspian couldn't let himself think that way. This was his fault, just as it always was. If he hadn't have been so weak, he could have made her stay. If he hadn't have believed the voice's lies that used Susan's mouth to reach his ears. No. All of this was his fault. The King laid on the floor. He stopped breathing. His chest was hurting like it shouldn't have been. Something was wrong. He felt sick. His head hurt. He wanted Susan back, especially now. He wasn't educated enough to know what was happening to his heart.

She kept going wondering if he had even noticed she wasn't coming for him. She looked back once to his window as if she would see him, but she knew he wouldn't be there looking for her and he wasn't anyway. What point was there in bringin up hope where there was none. Pain in her made her sit on a rock, leaning against a tree. At first she thought it was the baby, but he was too young to feel just yet. But she stayed there stroking it knowing he was so young that he had never had to expeirence fear before. Life was so simple and perfect and there was no concern of sickness, or danger, or heartbreak.

Caspian gasped for air, but none of it came to fill his lungs. He needed oxygen. He needed his heart to beat, but it wouldn't. He rolled on the floor, trying to stand, but he couldn't. If someone didn't find him soon, he would pass out. Shortly after that, he would die. But he didn't know that. There wasn't much time left for him. He reached out for one of his boots that lay beside the chair. Caspian grabbed it by the laces and whipped it at the window so that it shattered the glass and tumbled down to the snowy ground below. He had to draw attention to himself if he was going to get help. He took the other boot and through it at the glass the remained untouched, breaking it as well.

Nicole was silent she knew something was wrong both Susan's and Caspian's thoughts were mested up. nicole looked back the way they had come. "I could always ask anna to go back." nicole thought. "It will be to late go now. I will brake your fall and get you there faster with my speed." Sevona said. "I will trust you for i know you now if i die your screwed." nicole took a glance at Devon. " Don't worry." she wispered then jumped off, 15 miles away from the ground.

Anna rolled her eyes at Devon, not even bothering to attempt to give him an answer. Was he really that stupid that he didn't know? Apparently, he was. The great beast rolled in a circle as Nicole jumped off, folding her wings into her sides and plummeting downward, catching her upon her back again before pulling up and taking flight on the wind patterns once more. "What kind of a stunt was that?" she hissed. "You could have killed yourself! If you wanted to land, you could have asked."

By the time Anna had reached her Nicole had already transformed into Sevona's demon form. Sevona was careful not to dig her claws into Anna's back to hold on. Sevona quickly grabbed the boy who had almost fallen off of Anna when she flipped. SHe grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him up. After her mouth was empty she looked at ANna. "Sorry it would have been faster for me to run." SEsvona said with her gruff voice.

"I see you two have made an alliance." said Anna. "That's good. It'll pay off for the both of you in the long run." She flew down to the Queen and landed, bowing to her and letting the riders off of her back. Anna would have explained if she could talk, but because her throat hadn't healed, she left it to Nicole.

She looked back to the castle before she noticed the griffon. Were there demons there again? Were they back in the castle hunting Caspian or Galen? No, they couldn't be, they hadn't heard from Lamont or Cotnar in a little over a month. They had heard him growling and roaring in the forest, but nothing more. But maybe they were hiding under a rock, gathering strength while she was enjoying her free time with Caspian. She ran back to the castle without another thought. Looking up she could see two broken windows just where she figured they would be. "Caspian!" She screamed up to him praying he could hear her. He half expected him to stick his head out of one of them and tell her to stay away. But it never happened and she ran inside.

"Me?!" Sevona growled because they were on compromise now nicole allowed Sevona to use her mind reading powers. Sevona didn't have time to argue as she saw the queen run back towards the castle. Still in her demon form Sevona ran after the queen catching up just as the queen reached the room where the king had fallen.
