Character's Full Name: Syria De'more
Character Model: Kelly Clarkson
Speicies: human
Nicknames: 'Yria, Ria
Appearance:
Syria stands at 5'6, a few inches shorter than most women her age and she is annoyed by that fact. But she will try her hardest not to let it show. Her hair is brown and is always seen worn up into a tight bun while making her appearance at court parties. Her hair turns light blonde in summer and dark blonde in winter. She had added some light brown streaks into her hair. Her eyes are a cold brown and are set under curly lashes. Her skin is white and creamy and perfectly smooth. Syria has gotten scars from her past as well as beatings.
Personality:
Syria is what someone expects her to be when they think of the word ‘servant’. She is obedient and will do what is being asked of her. She does have a limit: if she thinks the task is overwhelming or a life and death situation then she doesn’t obey, which earns her a few lashes but she doesn’t care. She is also somewhat clumsy (which might have something to do with her getting beaten). She loves to daydream and will do it often or when she isn’t around Lamont. She will daydream for hours and sometimes forgets about the task.
Alliance: Miraz always
Likes: her life before the war, living in Narnia
Dislikes: Lamont (when he’s being downright cruel to her), the war, all of her family dead
Character Background:
Syria was born in England around the time of the second world war. Her father had enlisted in the army and went to fight the war. Her mother went to volunteer with the other women to help the local troops. She was only four years old when both of her parents had died. Her father died in battle and her mother from an explosion that was planned. She lived the remainder of her childhood in an orphanage until she was thirteen. Getting tired of the hard life, she ran away, meeting another young boy a few streets down. He told her about a magical place called Narnia and how she would be living like a noble. Generally she believed him, seeing as how the boy (his name is Lamont) sounded so sincere. But come to find out, she didn’t live like a noble, more like a servant. And surprisingly she didn’t mind working for him as long as she got the basic things needed to survive. She sometimes got punished for not doing what was asked of her.
Character Family:
Kevin-father (deceased)
Ashley-mother (deceased)
Special Power: none
Other/Additional Info: hm…none at the moment, except a thank you to Lamont for agreeing to let me play this character.
Sample Post:
Syria stood nervously at Lamont's side. She refused to meet his gaze, knowing that he would already be angry. "My lord..." she whispered, half scared and half wishing he would just kill her sometimes. "I didn't mean to...I didn't know-" she cringed as Lamont started to snap at her again. She slowly shrank back in fear. This morning she had 'upset' a few guards by accident. Trying to run away in order to avoid getting beatened, she knocked over a table and a statue went flying, slamming into a wall. She shivered as her blonde hair hung to hide her face and her blue eyes. She wished that she didn't listen to him in the first place. But in a way, Syria did owe him for having saved her in that horrible orphange. She sighed, only half listening to his lecuture.
