Character's Full Name: Saraff
Species: European dragon
Nicknames: none
Appearance: Like all European dragons she has a long tail and neck and great bat-like wings. Her scales are black as night except for on her spine from her head to her tail and there her scales are red.
Personality: Saraff is short-tempered and easily angered. But then, only a few kind words could bring her back to being nice again.
Alliance: none, Saraff is both an enemy and a friend
Likes: Flying about and a good hunt
Dislikes: Annoying humans that think they know everything
Character Background: Saraff lived with her mother and two siblings (brothers) on Dragon Island far to the east. there were hardly any humans there to make much of a mess of their paradise. But, of course, no paradise lasts forever. Lord Octesian, a human, came with the island with a few other friends. They cut down trees for their boats, hunted the scarce winter prey, and found her family's treasure cave. the four of them fought with the humans until all but Octesian were driven out. He, like a fool, chose to stay and was killed. Shortly after Saraff left to see other worlds.
Character Family: Mother - Ruhz, two brothers -Chauc, Ronar -- all still live on Dragon island
Special Power: no more than normal dragon things ( breathing fire, flying)
Sample Post: Saraff landed perfectly on the peak of the highest mountain on her island. the humans had all sailed away. All except for Octesian who they had killed. Ronar, with glistening blue scales in the twilight, circled above her with deep red Chauc behind him. The two landed beside her and lifted their heads proudly toward the retreating ships. There were two less than what had come.
"What say you sister?" Ronar said with his deep voice knowing how to read her thoughts easily.
"The humans leave now, but will they return to our island? Will they wipe us out?" She said dropping her head.
"What will happen we cannot know." Chauc said, "Mother says our place is not beyond those waters. We can stay and prepare ourselves for battle in case they come again."
"No," her head rose and her deep brown eyes narrowed, "I have to to the Sunfall lands and find if they will come after us. If they do I will return."
She spread her wings ready to fly but her older brothers' words, coming in unison as though they were trained, stopped her.
"What will we tell Ruhz?"
But to this Saraff had no response. She only flew away, leaving her home behind.
