Caspian looked from Pete to Lyric. "When I came in you had her pinned. And you were kissing her as if you didn't care if she wanted to kiss you or not. Then I slammed you against the wall, and you pushed me to the ground. And that's when you woke up." The King finished. "Oh, and you said something about 'Give me your throne, Caspian. And-"

Peter started to pale as he heard what Lyric and Caspian had told him. By the time Caspian had finished, Peter was as white as a ghost. He was not generally an evil man. He felt anger as he realized his worst fear: Lamont was having him controlled by magic. He stood and started pacing. "I want him here Caspian. I want him to stop doing this to me. I do not like seeing the ones I love hurt," he glanced at him and Lyric. "I..didn't...do anything other than..kissing...did I?" he walked back to the chair and sat himself down on it, his head in between his hands.

She wanted to say his hands had done a little exploring, but couldn't bring herself to do it when she saw how upset he looked. Walking to his side, she knetl beside him and placed a hand on his knee. She wished she could help, but wasn't sure how. "It's all right, Peter... I know you're a good person at heart." Maybe just her support would help some...

Caspian picked up Peter's sword and set it away from him and glared. He was in rage, dark magic or not. That was twice now, that Caspian had been attacked in his own room. And twice now, that Lyric had almost been hurt. "This has to stop, Pete." The King said, never taking his eyes off him as he went back to the door to get the tray. He handed the cold towel and water to Lyric, but kept the wine away from Peter, strong wine or not.

Peter raised his head to glower at Caspian. "I can't control this you know!" he snapped. His gaze fell on the wine and he knew that Caspian won't give it to him. Oh well, he thought with a sigh. He looked down and covered her hand with his. He reached out with it and stsarted stroking her hair.

Lyric stayed quiet, leaning her head on Peter's lap. At least he'd responded to her attempt at comfort. Taking the towel and water from Caspian, she set them beside her for later. First, shew wanted to make sure Caspian was all right.

Caspian sat on the edge of his bed, wanting so badly to go out in the middle of the woods and beat up a tree or something. But he didn't want to leave the room, incase something bad happend again. "Well you better learn how to control it." Caspian said, beginning to cool off a bit. "Go to the dwarves, they might help."

Peter continued to glower at Caspian. "Do you think I like this?" he asked, voice soft. A very dangerous sign indeed. "Do you think I like the idea that someone can control me through magic? I have tried to control it Caspian." he carefully stood up. "I will go see them," with that Peter left the room, slamming the door behind him.
[Peter's going to be out for a bit in this thread. Feel free to continue posting]

Lyric looked after him for a long time, then sighed, taking the towel and putting it over her head as she sighed. "What's this world coming to?" she mumbled, feeling a bit upset. She wanted to help him, but felt powerless. She couldn't even get him to stay in the room.

"I don't know." said Caspian, throwing himself on the bed and sighed. He leaned over and opened Peter's wine and took one of the wine glasses he had brought and poured it for himself. "If you want some help youself." he said, laying back down and staring at the ceiling. I'll kill my cousin. He thought to himself. Then his mind wandered to the memory of Lamont and Susan and his threat. 'Your little princess could very well be my Queen when all this has passed.' His cousin had told him. A snarl spread across the King's face.

She felt the urge to down the entire thing, but decided against it. For one, it was unladylike. Two, she needed to be alert at all times, now. Things were dangerous... Instead, she took a glass and poured herself a little, drinking it slowly as she looked at the king. He didn't look happy. "... you can beat Lamont." she said, sort of suddenly.

"I'll do more than beat him." Caspian said, more to himself than to Lyric. I'll do much more. He thought to himself. "What do you know about him?" The King asked.

"He's cruel...vicious... terrible" she murmered, eyes narrowing at the thought, then looked at him with an encouraging smile, "You'd definately make a much better king."

"Thanks." said Caspian, taking another sip of wine. "Do you know anything of his plans, or stratagies or anything?" he asked hopefully.

Peter was angry after his meeting with the dwarves. His temper was above boiling point(as it was normal for him these days). They had said the only reason to get rid of the magic was to go to Lamont himself. That is a really big help, he thought moodily. He yanked the door opened and slammed it shut. He shook his head as he sank down in a chair and looked at them. "The only way to get rid of it is if I go to Lamont. And I would come back wounded," he said with a sigh.
